For reference I have long, thick hair to the middle of my butt. My hair was completely virgin and I made the mistake of getting a balayage for new years.When I washed my hair for the first time after getting the balayage I instantly regretted my decision. My hair was completely tangled, something that I never struggled with, and when it dried it was so dry and frizzy and gross feeling. After doing some research, I found that I should be using leave in conditioner.So began my long search of leave in conditioners. I tried multiple leave in conditioners, and honestly they did nothing for me. I started believing that leave in conditioners were just a gimmick. I came across a TikTok of a girl swearing by this leave in conditioner, I thought it was way too pricey & I couldn’t justify spending the money, so I kept trying other cheaper brands.Nothing really worked for me, none did what they claimed. Eventually, I finally caved and bought this Amika one with no expectations. I was so very pleasantly surprised! It did everything it claimed.My favorite things are first, the scent. It has such a lovely scent to it and it really sticks to your hair for days. At work people have been asking me what shampoo I use and I put them on to the amika leave in conditioner. Secondly, it does such a great job at detangling my mess of hair. I always brush my hair straight out of the shower (I know thats not good) and the the brush runs so smoothly through my hair and I can genuinely say with minimal damage.You know how when you brush your wet hair you have all that hair that’s broken off in your brush, well, I dare say that I lose less hair with this product.Lastly, and most importantly for me- ever since the balayage my hair has been SO DRY and frizzy. I always let my hair air dry, because I simply just have too much to blow dry. I don’t know what is in this stuff, but now when my hair dries, it’s no longer dry and yucky. It looks silky and smooth. I’m absolutely so obsessed with this product and can honestly say that it is worth the money.The way I use it is after I wash my hair, I part it in 2 sections and spray each section from the middle going downward. I do spray a generous amount and it’s completely tangle free. It doesn’t make my hair greasy or oily, which is huge.I 100% recommend this product to everyone. It’s been magical for me. I love it so much that I was gifted another one for Mother’s Day. Also, I’ve been using this in my nieces curly hair as a detangler and she can finally sit through getting her hair brushed without crying. I love, love this stuff and I’m really excited to try other products from this brand.

I didn’t think I’d like it
I have thin hair that is just a real pain in the butt for me. I always hesitate in using/buying hair products because I’m not sure how my hair will react. Because it’s thin, it’s hard to get volume and texture, so I definitely stay away from leave-in conditioners.I recently switched to Amika shampoo and conditioner and I love it, so I figured I would give this a try, especially since the summer sun is not being kind to my hair. So far, I am loving this! I use it after my shower (I wash my hair twice a week), and I apply it to damp hair before brushing through it. It helps so much with tangles. It smells SO good. I think the scent is my favorite thing about it. But, I’ve also noticed my hair is smoother and shinier, which is a plus. It is softer but I’m still able to actually style it and not have a flat, almost greasy looking mess that I’ve had with other leave-in conditioners.If you’re on the fence, I definitely think it’s worth trying! I’m happy with it!

Daily Use
I use this daily and it has made my hair softer without over conditioning it. And the smell is fantastic! Love the lock in place bottle, make it easy to travel with!

Good for frizzy, dry hair!!
I love this product. My hair is no longer frizzy and is so soft. It also looks much better and is well-managed.
