    Works well, Very liquid/thin
It is a really thin/liquid product. But it is well absorbed by the skin. This is for oily skins. It might not moisturize that well if you need that extra weight on winter. I like that it’s unscented.

    Good daily for aging face
Lightweight, noncomedogenic, daily lotion works well on my age 50+ face. A little goes a long way, which makes me feel better about the cost. Feels similar to Cerave daily moisturizer, but I don’t need to use as much. I appreciate that there’s no plastic packaging.

    Lightweight, water-based moisture
I have to say, I’ve been more focused on skincare for my face especially for maybe the past 5-6 years. Edging on almost 40, I felt it was time to look more critically at what skin care I am using especially since I’ve had 2 kidney transplants and feel better knowing I am using more natural products. I’ve used a number of larger brand name products that seemed to have high level promises but never truly felt I saw results. I was looking mainly for a newer day-time moisturizer that is quite lightweight, absorbed quickly, and layered well with my daytime serum and under my SPF for my face. I honestly thought I ordered the cucumber scented option but received the non-scented. While it is quite benign of a scent, there is a bit of an odor but I cannot put my finger on exactly what it is but it is not offensive by any means. This moisturizer truly is gel-like but turns into more water like consistency rather quickly with just warmth from my hands. It glides on easily and absorbs very fast into my skin. Additionally, I love that it does not require a lot to be effective and this one jar feels it will last quite some time. I’ve been using this moisturizer for about 2 weeks now and feel it is rather effective and simple – I love the metal lid and glass jar – it makes it feel more substantial but also better knowing it is recyclable in a good way. If you’re looking for a lightweight moisturizer that you can feel good about (I know it’s Amazon, so there is that) and is more clean than most others out there, then I truly do recommend you consider this one and for the price, you can’t go wrong.

Stops my skin from being oily
I have very oily skin and this is the first product I have ever tried that has stopped my skin from being oily! On top of that it leaves my skin feeling soft and moisturized.

Decent option but still not perfect and quite pricey.
I initially bought this product for health concerns and the good EWG rating but later looked into the ingredients and was a little disappointed. I would give a more lenient rating if the price wasn’t so steep.Pros:- Very lightweight and worked well with my oily skin- Had a slight reduction in inflammation but nothing spectacular- Glass jar: good for limiting plastic leaching and environmental impact- Ingredients are better than other big name brands like Neutrogena but not good enough for my standardsCons:- Definitely fairly pricey, especially for the ingredients list. You can find other products with high health/safety standards for cheaper.- Will sting a little like using BP/Tretinoin for the first time if you have very sensitive skin. I didn’t have any problems but when applying after microneedling I would get the stinging sensation for a few minutes.- The main issue I have is with the ingredients list. As said before it’s definitely not perfect.ACRYLATES, VP COPOLYMER:EWG claims these microplastics do not cause significant health concerns at these concentrations, but it may be still be an issue for yourself.PHENOXYETHANOL:There is a lot of controversy over this regarding cancer risk and endocrine disruption but the amount is so small it may not be relevant. Ultimately it is still a better option than parabens, though I am not sure of its purpose given the formulation already has Caprylhydroxamic Acid as the primary preservative.Licorice Root Extract:I don’t know how strong the effect is, nor how much of the extract is used in this formulation, so this may not have a relevant effect, but licorice root is known to be a significant endocrine disruptor by lowering testosterone. However, this effect has only been studied in the quantity of consuming grams of it daily.

    Greasy, disgusting feeling
This is not a face moisturizer. It’s a greasy gel that will make your face feel dirty and gross when you apply it.

    Good stuff!
This stuff works great. My skin feels so much more moist and supple. It goes on easily with little effort and absorbs quickly. Funny, but I don’t feel as much of a dead skin build up on my face since starting to use this almost 2 weeks ago. It does smell a little like petroleum jelly; but on the skin, there’s no smell. I like it!!
