Quality net sponge
This African net sponge is a game changer. It is much better than any luffa, sponge, or cloth I have ever used! I will never go back after discovering this. This net is made very well. You can see every single knot on the net and the purple color of the indigo color is beautiful and vibrant. There is a generous amount of material and is stretchy. It comes neatly packed in a cylinder container that includes a storage bag for travel!It lathers very well and exfoliates my skin without being too abrasive. The strings on the end make it easier to use on hard-to-reach spots like the back. I love that it is antibacterial so it doesn’t harbor bacteria like sponges and luffas. The fact that this net sponge can last for years is already worth the value. I highly recommend it!

Genuine AFRIKI African Net Sponge – The Real Deal!
This is truly a genuine African Net Sponge, nicely knotted and made of good material. What sets this one apart is the design – it is very stretchy and has each end gathered with a string making it easy to grasp and use. The stretch is amazing and the netting performs well exfoliating and scrubbing my body. Made to last, should be good for a couple of years. Also very attractive lavender color and with winter setting in and wearing lots of layers, my back needs scrubbing now more often than ever and this does a great job on my back as well as on my whole body.Made for and marketed by a small business, this item is worth purchasing whether for your self or as a gift. Comes in a nice tube and inside is a small waterproof bag for the sponge for travel. Well made and great product. If you haven’t tried an African Net Sponge I encourage you to try this Net Sponge.

Superior to the standard shower poof
This comes in a cardboard tube and presents really well so I think it would make a pretty good gift item. The tube has very clear information on how to care for the sponge and how long it should be expected to last. Thereâs also a small travel bag to use to take this along and it appears to be pretty water tight.The sponge does feel a little plastic-y but thatâs kind of to be expected since itâs made out of plastic. This is also made in China so Iâm not sure how âauthenticâ it is if itâs advertising as an African sponge.Overall quality is still pretty good and itâs held up well. The little knots in the net help provide more exfoliation. Thereâs two strings, one on either end, that can be used to hang the scrubber in the shower. Theyâre a little too weak to use to grip the sponge (ie for use on scrubbing your back), but thereâs enough extra sponge to grab onto that theyâre not required. They may eventually wear out before the sponge needs to be replaced.This actually takes up less space than my standard loofah and dries really quickly.

Practical, effective, and easy to use
I picked the lilac color. The two string handles on each end are helpful; It’s easy to hold and sturdy enough to handle a good scrub. I can finally reach every spot on my back, including the lower back, without awkward twisting or straining. The net material is exfoliating without being harsh and lathers well. My skin feels smoother and cleaner. Unlike traditional loofahs, this sponge dries quickly and doesnât trap water, so thereâs no weird smell or bacteria buildup. I just rinse it out, hang it up by the strings, and itâs good to go for the next use. The stretchiness of the material is perfect for reaching all those tricky spots without feeling flimsy. Itâs lightweight, compact, and even travel friendly if youâre on the go. If youâre tired of struggling to scrub your back or want an upgrade for your shower routine, this sponge is worth it.

Okay for a back scrubber. Could use some basic improvements.
Comes in a cute little box that would be nice for gift wrapping and has a small zippered travel pouch. Nice texture and long enough for giving your back a good scrubbing. That being said, there is a lot of marketing here around African heritage and tradition. However, this is a product made out of polyester in China. I honestly like using it, but I don’t think a lot of thought went into the design. It is tied at each end with little pieces that look like kite string. The strings are too small to get a good grip on and will not fit over a shower head, so finding a place to hang it or lay it down is an issue in a normal shower. Handles of some kind on each end would have made it more convenient to use. Just a plastic hook on one end or the other would have made it possible to hang it somewhere at least. The little plastic pouch is cute, and supposedly makes it handy for taking the thing on trips. However, if this thing is even slightly damp, it will be a swarming mass of mold, mildew and bacteria if it is left in there for a couple of days. Not a terrible product, but nothing special.

Way better than a shower pouf
I love this! I typically use washcloths but on occasion use a shower pouf, and this is far superior to any pouf I have used. It creates a great lather with any soap (I have used both bar and liquid body wash with it). I like that you can use it balled up or you can extend it to its full length to reach your back. It has a loop on either end to make gripping it easier. It’s very exfoliating but not too harsh.The product itself seems to be good quality and will hopefully hold up well to daily use. I did read that you should soak it for ten minutes in warm, soapy water before using for the first time, which I did. Would definitely recommend this.

Works Amazingly!
This thing is wild. It is like a really long semi open loofah. I have never used anything like it before. It is great! I like how it works as a normal loofah kind of if you bunch it together or you can use it as a back scrubber if you let it stretch out. It lathers body wash and soap well but then it rinses right out without leaving any kind of nasty residue or anything. You just hang it up to dry afterwards and its good to go for the next time you shower. I also like that they include a little card about the business and a resealable baggie for travel or long term storage.

I use this as a shower “scrubby”. It is small enough to reach most body parts, but it can then stretch way out to wash your back. I love it and it would be fantastic for an older or heavier person.
