    These are great
The old, original type Ace combs. Exactly what I wanted, and package of 6 is great. Some complain the tines are too sharp. Come on, folks! If you push and gouge down hard enough you will scratch anything. These tines are fine, no scratches on my scalp. If someone feels they are “too sharp”, just get a flat file and whip it over the tops a couple of times. End of complaint.

    Sturdy, perfect combs
These combs are very well made and came quickly! I use them on my Spaniels ears to pull out burrs, haha. My husband has used Ace combs for years, and they would probably last that long if my puppy hadn’t chewed them! This is our second order and highly recommend them!

    Teeth bend with time time
Well, putting us in your pocket the teeth bend never got a comb or the teeth didn’t stay straight must be manufacture. Hopefully, it’s only one time didn’t think it was necessary to send to combs back gifted the other 4 bummer gift

Fine toothed combs that won’t scratch your scalp to death
I bought my first Ace hard rubber comb during my college years (1986-90) from a cvs pharmacy and was impressed with the fact that it was advertised to have polished rounded ends on its teeth, which did really make a difference in how harshly it scratched my scalp when I used it in the shower to comb my hair, for example. Since that time, I’ve bought other fine-tooth Ace combs, but the quality seems to have been either inconsistent (has teeth that are sharper than I expected) or diminished a bit, but I still look for this brand of comb because of its greater comfort when scraping against my scalp. If I come across occasional ones that scratch too much (only happened once), I toss them aside and buy other ones in hopes of having better luck. The ones I have now still don’t measure up to the high quality and feel of what I encountered when I bought my first one [during college].

OK, but Not Like The Old Ace Fine-tooth Combs I Used for Years
When I ordered the six-pac of Ace Combs online I guess I didn’t look closely enough at the enlarged photos. A little disappointing to get them and realize that the are NOT the hard rubber type as before, and the teeth are all of one thickness with sharp bottoms. What I wanted was the old style Ace pocket combs around for decades with half the teeth broad and the other half thin and close together. Maybe they’re not made that way anymore…..they were ideal, don’t know why they aren’t made like that anymore, or at least not more available. All you find in drugstores around here in pocket size are the cheap little Con-Air combs, which quickly break and/or lose teeth. So saying, the Ace combs sent to me are….OK, at least usable.
