Better than Dobie!
As another reviewer noted – these seem to be sturdier than the Dobie brand, last longer, and COST LESS! As an added bonus – they use less packaging, as they’re compressed so much more compact to ship and store – simply run some water over the one pad you need, and it inflates (not instantly, though).I’ve used Dobie for years – the price kept rising and they seemed to wear out faster & faster – these are better quality, cost less and take up less space! Buy the 12 pack and they’re 67¢ each!

Review for Alternative to Dobie Dish Sponges
I was so tired of paying the higher price for the Dobie brand dish sponges, so I decided to give this alternative a try—and I’m so glad I did! This was a fantastic deal, and the sponges are nearly identical in quality and performance. I’ll admit I was a bit nervous when they arrived in vacuum-sealed packaging, but after a day, they puffed up perfectly. They work just as well as the name brand, and I’ve been telling everyone I know to make the switch. Highly recommend!

The BEST! A Miracle worker!
I have an all-black granite shower, it used to be white marble hence a sneaky leak destroyed the wood beneath the white marble, so the entire shower had to be ripped out I couldn’t match the marble of course so I picked black granite in my separate shower stall never thinking about the nightmare it would be to keep it clean, the soap scum appeared every day on the lower part of the granite and the floor. I tried everything to clean it, but nothing worked, until I purchased the Mr. Scrub all-purpose sponges, the simplicity and effectless cleaning now have become a joy for me I worked very hard for so many years to try and keep it clean and bring it back the shine like the rest of the walls thanks to Mr. Scrub all-purpose sponges and the reviews my shower looks brand new will minimal cleaning thanks everyone who wrote a review about these sponges you ended my nightmare

Vastly superior to Scotch Brite Dobie!
I was a loyal Scotch Brite Dobie user for YEARS to wash dishes. While I loved their efficacy, I did find them prone to developing holes rather quickly (sometimes within days!), something I accepted since I loved the product. I decided to give this brand a try when the price of Dobie jumped. I’m glad I did because this brand does NOT develop holes! This little sponge lasts a very long time (at least a month!) and I find myself only replacing it because it’s grown discolored from use and not because it’s broken down or developed holes. I hope they’ll always be available and will never go back to Dobie. The fact that it’s much cheaper than Dobie makes this choice a no-brainer!
