Nice wand for tight curls
This is a great super thin curling wand to make nice tight ringlets. I love that it comes with the heat glove since it doesn’t have a clip on it so you’re able to hold your hair on the wand.

Tiniest curling barrel Iâve ever seen!
Iâve owned a couple curling irons in the past, ranging from tiny ones to really thick ones, but this is the tiniest one Iâve ever seen! Iâve experimented with many curly hair looks before, but this definitely gave me the tightest curls ever. Because of how tiny it is though, it will take a while to get through your entire head, which can be quite time consuming and frustrating if you donât have the patience for it.As for the temperatures, I really like how, instead of having fixed temperature levels, we have the freedom to increase it by 10s starting from a 100F. I say this because every hair condition and type is different. Iâm a huge fan of that. One thing to know about the gloves though, Although they will protect you well enough to not burn yourself while youâre holding your hair on the barrel to get that curl that you want, you can still feel the heat to an extent. Definitely be careful, please.For the materials itâs made out of, I will say that, although this performs great and theyâve included items like the gloves and the clip and the comb, it feels somewhat cheap in such a way that the barrel is good and feels ceramic, but the handle is made out of cheap-feeling plastic. So, thereâs definitely a bit of compromise there, but other than that, Iâm a huge fan of it.

Simple, not at all Fancy, Curling Wand does the Job
My daughter has been wanting to style her hair differently than her usual straight and âboring.â This is why I have been on the lookout for simple products and devices for curling hair. That is what led to me picking up this UNOBEY Curling Wand.Included with the wand was a glove, two clips, a comb, and instructions.This wand is very basic. It doesn’t have any fancy features. Doesn’t beep to indicate done or on temp. It has a display that simply says the temperature or if it is off. It will flash to indicate it is still heating to the desired temp, and can be changed from Celsius to Fahrenheit if both the + and – buttons are pressed but only shows a number, not a degree indicator. I found it easier to leave it at Celsius and keep it at the lowest temp. It took no time at all to reach this temperature. I then wrapped some hair around it and left it in for about 30-40 seconds. This gave me a tight curl that stayed in for a while.I was very pleased with the results.

I actually had a difficult time with this curling iron but that’s because I have problems with curling irons that do not have clamps plus I have short hair (long pixie cut). I gave it to my sister to use. She absolutely loved it! Not only does it heat up fast, but you have an LCD screen that is easy to see what temperature it is and it flashes until it reaches that temperature. She said it was easy to use and she loved the curls that it made. Because the curling iron is thin, it doesn’t actually need a stand when placing it on the counter. Although it can get hot, it’s not hot enough to burn your counter because it’s high enough off the counter. It does exactly what it was intended to do and I would recommend it.

The curling wand heats up quickly and is fairly easy to use, always wearing the glove to protect your hand (the hand which isn’t holding the wand eg. if you’re right handed you may want to wear it on your left hand). I find it difficult to curl the hair closest to the head, but guess this may improve with practise, and looking at the product photos they don’t seem to curl too close to the head either (obviously you have to be careful not to touch your scalp with the hot wand). It’s very easy to remove the wand from curled hair – it doesn’t stick at all, and very quickly produces tight curls. The curled hair also a shine to it, I’m guessing due to the ceramic barrel. It’s amazing what a difference it makes to your hair’s overall appearance, and also to bear in mind that hair will appear significantly shorter when curled, I suppose due to the small size/tightness of the curls.I found the pink stitching on the wrist of the glove kept it too tight to put on so had to stretch it before wearing, but the glove is very effective at protecting the hand. If the temperature displays a “LOC” message, then pressing the power button twice in quick succession in quick succession will unlock it so that you can adjust the temperature. The clips are really useful for holding hair out of the way so that you can work on one section at a time, and the comb for ensuring that the required section is tangle-free. As someone whose hair tends to frizz, I really like the smoothness it gives.

This curling wand is AMAZING!!It’s perfect for getting those tight curls, and when they’re in… They stay!!I have really fine hair, so whenever I curl my hair, it lasts a couple of hours before falling out. These curls however, lasted 2 days!! (With a little bit of product).The temperature goes up to 230 which is fantastic! The wand is so thin that it creates really tight, springy curls. It makes them hold so well, that the curls almost feel ‘solid’.It comes with a comb, two clips & a glove – Everything you need is included! ðIt has a rotating cord too which is an absolute must when curling hair!!The only thing I don’t like, is that there’s no handle/stand – There are little ridges in the side to stop it rolling, but I couldn’t really place it anywhere with confidence (I ended up hanging it over my desk shelf when needing to set it down. A small price to pay for such a fantastic curler, though.Honestly would 10/10 recommend this curling wand – It’s brilliant!! Bargain of a price, too, for the quality!
