Great Sponge
I know a sponge is used for many different purposes. I am an artist and this sponge I use with my acrylics. I have tried different ones, but this one is fantastic. The surface is just smooth enough, but not too smooth for my purposes. I like the feel of it in my hand. This one is a keeper.

IDEAL Size for Old Fashioned Floor Scrubbing
I admit being something of a Luddite where housecleaning’s concerned. Older’s better, IMHO. And when it comes to cleaning my kitchen’s tile floor, I prefer cleaning it “by hand” than by using any newfangled, high tech device like a mop or anything else with a handle. Hence, my need for a BIG sponge. And this fits the bill PERFECTLY. It’s large, holds a good quantity of soapy water, has a large surface area to make cleaning quicker, & is tough enough to “rub out” the stubbornest muddy pawprints my dogs can put down. Love it & the price is RIGHT–these are really hard to find in my local area. Thanks, Amazon!

The best for durability and water-holding capacity.
With 20+ years of using these, I’ve had a chance to test them pretty thoroughly. They simply outperform every other sponge I’ve bought locally or on Amazon. They hold more water and last longer under daily use in service plumbing than any others I’ve tried. It has been one of those too-rare cases of getting my money’s worth consistently from a product. Works great on the weekend for car washing as well.

Great sponge that might be worth the price
Before buying this sponge, you may wish consider how you plan to use it. This won’t clean better or faster or absorb more water than other sponges, it may however be somewhat more durable. For many applications, the added cost probably isn’t worth it – I typically throw sponges out because they get too dirty or start to smell (durability isn’t an issue).That being said, I’ve had moderately better luck using these on rough surfaces than some of the cheaper brands I’ve tried (which are more prone to snagging or crumbling and leaving behind tiny pieces of sponge). This isn’t a miracle-worker, but it may provide superior performance for certain applications. It’s also nice and thick.

These are a great product – have been looking in all the stores and could not find the heavy commercial sponge. All the others are too thin and way too soft to absorb, while this sponge has good mass and wipes without any streaks. Happy with the product but I do think they are pricey.
