These sponges have been really great, the only weird thing is the yellow leaches out of the yellow sponges at first. Like they didn’t rinse out all of the dye. But otherwise these work really well and are easy to store,.

Goodbye parched plants!
I cannot review the cleaning ability of these sponges, but I can offer an alternative use! No matter how vigilant I am with watering, my hanging baskets and potted plants always fall prey to the heat of the summer. I stumbled on this value pack of 36 sponges and decided to try something new. I placed two sponges in the bottom of each hanging basket/pot before adding potting soil, and I have seen a marked improvement in the appearance of my plants so far. Based on the feel of the soil, the sponges seem to be serving two purposes. On hot sunny days, they retain moisture from watering and keep the plant roots cool and hydrated. When weâve had rain, they appear to absorb excess water, great for potential root rot! As for quality, the small box is deceptive. At first glance, I was disappointed with the small, flat sponge squares, but as soon as I got them wet, they sprung to life. Although I did not use them in the traditional sense, they feel very durable and have no odor. Great value for the money!!

Was Surprised
These are great sponges. When they first arrived I was skeptical, I thought did I order the wrong amount. Then opened the box, and there was all the sponges. I’ve never seen sponges like this before, and thought these are worthless. Then, I put one in the sink, wet it and it grew from this really flat thing into a sponge. They do the job on dishes, and they come clean rather easily. I do recommend these sponges, and will be buying them again.

These sponges take up very little space in the drawer, but once hydrated, expand to full size. They have a nice, tight cellular structure and are very hard-wearing.
