Faint smell
I have only used the sandal wood scent, so far. The scent is very faint. I smelled the others and all seem the same, no strong smell. I was hoping after getting through the top layer it would be a stronger smell, but not so far.

Long lasting Solid Cologne Sticks 24 pack variety
This 24 count variety back boasts 4 scents that are all pleasant. I found the best way to apply is to place a couple of finger tips on the wax bar to warm/soften it and then apply on a scent gland as normal. The aromas are understated and pleasant, last for several hours. Each stick comes in a slide open metal tin that is compact and can easily fit into a pocket and transport.
