Just what I expected. Great product. I put Jamaican black castor oil inside empty mascara tube. By applying castor oil, you can easily have eyebrows/eyelashes that look fuller and thicker. Potential cap crack issue
I was using it daily and very happy. I realized it didn’t have a stopper, which was annoying, but I chose this so that’s how it is. Only one picture showed one yet there was no mention in the description, so I wasn’t clear on it. However, due to the lack of stopper, when you wipe on the side of the tube, even being careful, sometimes you lose oil to the outside of the bottle. But I really liked the brush and maybe it’s part of using a full brush like that? However, I am afraid of contamination. This is going on my brows and lashes, after all, and therefore, close to or in my eyes. (Castor oil/almond oil mix). So… of course I screwed the lid on tight after making sure I cleaned any oil that leaked on the outside. Eventually, it leaked oil. Every time. I couldn’t understand how I was being so clumsy. One night, I was actually “clumsy” and unknowingly lay it down (I stored it upright). In the morning, some oil puddled under/around the bottle. I realized the extra oil in the previous two weeks was due to a cracked cap! I don’t believe I screwed it on so tight to “crack” it, and I used less force than I do for actual mascara tubes. I used it nightly… and for 2 months it was very good. My cap was silver/metallic plastic, not black. I wonder if that is the reason it cracked. I ordered another because I really liked the size and brush but still haven’t received it yet. We’re talking 5 weeks now! It seems that the original seller with whom I purchased this changed to another one… but 5 weeks? I see it’s a different seller again, now and all at the same price point so it’s confusing. It taught me to check sellers before hitting “Buy it again,” so I should be thankful for this lesson on an inexpensive item. A friend recommended me another company (Sky Organic), whose bottles even come with stoppers and arrived immediately, so I’m hoping to start my routine all over again this week. The brushes are a different shape, so I’ll see which applies better.
