Perfect for applying lip gloss – much better than a brush or fingers
Like most people, B.C. (Before COVID), I had been in the habit of using my finger to spread lip gloss. I changed to using a conventional lip brush because it seemed a lot more sanitary, but no matter what lip brush I used, I was going through/wasting more gloss than before because of how much stuck to the hairs of the brush, and it took a lot of time and effort to clean those brush heads. (Who knew, lip gloss is sticky, and colored lip glosses stain most brushes!) After a few months, most of my old brushes were discolored and icky-looking and matted/stiff from gloss residue no matter how much I washed them. Plus, once they were washed, it would take a day or more for most bristled lip brushes to dry thoroughly.These silicone brushes are SO much better than any bristled lip brush – and even better than the old standby of fingers – not just because they are easy to keep clean and dry, but also because application is precise, and because the silicone is non-absorbent (no wasted gloss!). Other observations: I like the teardrop-shaped tip of this silicone applicator – less smearing of gloss. While the adorable pink and silver handle is shorter than the handle of most of my old lip brushes (the handle is about two inches long, not counting the silicone tip itself – just counting the handle), it still fits very comfortably in my hand, and the small size is perfect for portability. The silicone tips seem sturdily attached, and at about 3/4 of an inch by half an inch, the tip/head is actually a bit larger than that of a conventional lip brush. That makes for speedier application too.The degree of firmness of this silicone brush seems just right for applying lip gloss – it has enough give for an even deposit of gloss, but not so much that the gloss globs up. And it is firm enough that I can scoop small amounts of gloss out of a pot or tube with it. I even tried using one of these to apply a lip scrub, and it worked great for that too. The silicone of this brush was tough enough to stand up to the gritty (sugar-based) lip scrub without being marred in any way.These are so easy to clean, I usually just wipe them and they are as good as new. And unlike conventional lip brush fibers, colored glosses don’t stain the silicone. Very happy to have found the perfect tool to apply lip products!

Serves purpose
I brought the lip sponges to ease in applying my nightly moisturizer. The brushes are durable, soft and can be used multiple times. The reason for the 4 stars, advertising the brushes, it showed a cute little tip cover that could be attached to the lid of you container of the product you use for your lips. The little piece would keep the lip sponge safe from getting dirty and close your product.

Great little brush
Sturdy little brush perfect for lip mask, other balms, and moisturizers when you don’t want to use finger. I thought I might want the kind with covers but I don’ t miss them since I wipe the brush clean anyway. You get a lot of brushes for a great price.

Seemed like a good idea, but…..
The tips of these applicators are made of silicone, which means they will not absorb any product. That may seem like a great idea….but it doesn’t really work very well because if you are using a cream or liquid based product, you’ll just end up smearing the product around, which for me meant uneven application. I used it for eyeshadow and lipstick application and neither worked very well. I also tried using it for eyebrow and eyeliner by using the slanted edge of the applicator, and at least for eyeliner I found it too abrasive to the sensitive lash line area and for eyebrow it will not work as well as a brow brush or spoolie.

There’s no need for 12. And I found it was very hard to hold due to its Smallness.
