Deceptive!
So these are very deceptive. They are about the size of a debit card, TINY and I mean T.I.N.Y.. Now when you get them wet they don’t get huge, yet they definitely increase in size. As far as cleaning I don’t know, I use these to put in my lunch box frozen after wet to keep my food cold.Much cheaper than freezer packs.

These are PERFECT!!
The sponges come flat and dry, and the minute you add water they are PERFECT sponges!! Simple cellulose sponges, perfect size (MUCH bigger than a credit card, which I believe another reviewer was saying???) They are great, and I’m ordering more. It’s hard to find a nice simple sponge! These are even better because I can take them when I travel and want to wash things out in the hotel room.

The measurements in the product description do not include the height of the sponge when it is rehydrated. It’s less than 1/4 inch!
