It’s been two weeks ans the natural sponge is doing great. Works just like a synthetic sponge but cheap and biodegradable. I’ll test tge biodegradablility next

Works Just as Well as Scotch-Brite Greener Clean Sponges But Splits Apart After 12-14 Days
These work well, both the scouring side and the sponge side – just as well as Scotch-Brite Greener Clean natural sponges. However, after about 12-14 days, the scouring side begins to split apart from the sponge…. and then it takes another 5-7 days or so until it’s ready to be thrown out. I guess it’s not really that big of a deal since you get a significantly larger quantity for your money as compared to Scotch-Brite Greener Clean ones, but they definitely don’t last as long… and I guess that’s ok since you don’t want to keep sponges very long due to sanitation concerns.Price Comparison: $0.83 per sponge for this Generic Brand versus $1.17 per sponge for Scotch-Brite (which is 40% higher in price).

Best ecological sponge
These sponges are not as harmful to the environment as plastic sponges and they hold up quite well. I have found other ecological sponges start shredding the scrubby side in less than a week of frequent use. The price is reasonable too.

Decent but not long lasting
These sponges do fine with dishwasher, but they are not the most durable. The scrubbing pad is not adhered very well to the sponge and it starts separating with use almost immediately. Can get ok mileage out of each sponge, and with good rinsing and sanitizing, get a week to two out of each. The scrubbing pad works well for an all natural sponge, doesnt scratch even soft surfacea like plastic, but just irritating that it separates from the sponge. Good price for the trade off compared to the other all natural sponges out there.

Sustainable and tough on food scraps
I feel good about using these sponges as they are natural and less toxic than the ones that the grocery store sells. They are a great scrubber and do very well removing any grime on pots and pans. They also last a long time

I haven’t even used these yet, but they have a label on them that says “Made in China”, and when the plastic packaging was opened, they were chemically stinky. Please take this into account if you are hoping for a truly natural option, as these are not.
