Very Nice Curling Wand
I haven’t had the chance to use this yet due to just not styling my hair with a curling wand often. The quality though just upon looking at it and testing it is really just really outstanding. The 1 inch is perfect for what I was needing. Definitely recommend!

Too frustrated to use
I havenât used a curling iron in years, and I ordered this to see if I would like using it to give my hair some bounce; however, I was really frustrated trying to use it. I really wanted to like it, but I am old school and I just cannot get my hair to curl right without the clamp to hold my hair in place.

strange not having a clamp on the wand
It’s really strange not having a clamp on the wand like most irons do so if you’re used to that kind this will take some getting used to. It does come with a heat resistant glove which is very useful as you learn how to use one without the clamp to hold your hair as it curls. I don’t find that this gives me as tight of curls as one with a clamp, but it did give my hair a nice wave. Overall it’s a nice curling iron.

Very Basic Curling Iron
It’s nice that it comes with the glove and accessories. I like the feature that the cord allows for 360 degree movement without getting twisted. And the cord is a nice length. The glove is pretty big, I guess so that it provides ample coverage for your arm, which you will need to keep yourself from getting burned with this thing. It’s actually difficult to NOT burn yourself, even when trying to make an effort, because it doesn’t have a clip to hold the bottom of your hair in place as you work your way up to the base of your head. Instead, you start at the base of your head and manually wrap the strand around your head, thus drastically increasing the chances of burning your arm. I mean, they disclosed the lack of this feature (the clip) up front, so can’t blame them for that, BUT it really makes this curling iron a total pain to use vs the ones with the clips. It curls my hair just fine, it’s just accidentally hitting my arm against a hot iron isn’t my idea of a fun time. Considering there are other curling irons with a clip that are at this price point, I’d opt for one of those instead.

No clip to hold hair around iron
There is no clip to hold your hair around the iron so you must wear the glove. The glove is not heat proof so it gets hot. The makers need to redesign this correctly so it can fully be used w/o burning your hand.
