Pretty, big, soft curls
This curling iron heats up quickly and creates soft waves easily. The cord is a very generous 78â long and has a full swivel with a 1/4â diameter hanging hole where it attaches to the base. The 1â diameter x 7â long handle is comfortable to hold and the control push buttons are recessed 1 1/2â from the barrel. The push buttons are well-placed for a right handed person to grasp the handle without accidentally engaging the controls. There are choices for 285, 330, 375, or 430 degrees F. The spring is strong but it is not difficult to depress to open the 1 3/4â wide x 5 1/2â long holding plate for wrapping hair. The heated barrel is 1 1/2â diameter and 5 1/2â long. There is a 1â long plastic cap to protect your fingers from getting burned. There is a foot at both the top and base to raise the curling iron off the countertop surface.I like how quickly this curling iron heats up. It holds my hair firmly and makes beautiful curls quickly. They have included many useful features that make it easier to use. In addition, they have provided a thin protective glove to help with accidental touching of the barrel and two plastic spring clips to keep your hair out of the way while styling. There is even a velcro wrap pre-installed to keep the cord tidy when not in use.

An okay curling iron.
This is a large barrel 1.5 inch curling iron. It does a pretty good job of creating large loose curls. It heats up almost immediately and is very simple & basic to use. It has dual voltage and a long swivel cord and a stand so it doesn’t touch the counter.It comes with 2 hair clips and one glove to protect your hand from heat. The only issue I had with it is that the clamp doesn’t seem tight enough. At first my hair slipped right out, but I managed to get it to stay in and got it to work. My hair is a medium/fine texture. It is smooth straight hair … my daughter calls it ‘silky’ hair, so maybe if you have thicker hair it would work better for you. But I’ve never had that happen before, most clamps are tight enough. But when it worked, the curls were big & nice and it gave my hair more volume as well. Overall a decent curling iron for a low price.~ 3.5 stars.

My Wife Tells Me It Works Fine
I got this for my wife for when she let’s her hair down. Her hair is straight, and she usually keeps it up in a bun. Anyhow, she has used it for over a month now, and says it works really good. Asking about it, I’ve been told it heats up fine, and is good for doing wavy hair the way she likes.Personally, it’s been nice seeing her hair down more often. It has more bounce and body than it does without using the iron, so I’d say it’s working well.
