Lush Creamy Candy Body Scrub Review

Yes, I do have a new body scrub obsession. It all started with Lush Sticky Dates Body Scrub and just progressed from there. Tree Hut, you might some combination! I’m currently in love with Lush Body Scrubs and when they released a Lush x Community Body Scrub Collection I was all about it. The launch included five scents voted on by the Lush Community to become limited-edition body scrubs. Am I crying that these are LE? Yes. They made a Lush Creamy Candy Body Scrub and I don’t want to live my shower life without it. Sob! Well, I got two of them but when it’s gone it’s gone 🙁 Or maybe if I’m lucky by the time run through these two pots it’ll still be around for me to repurchase.

Lush Creamy Candy Body Scrub is a delicious companion to Snow Fairy. It’s in the same family as Rock Star Soap. It isn’t as sweet as Snow Fairy but has a more creamy vanilla and almond candy scent. It’s not a cake-like vanilla but more a candyish vanilla and almond. It’s a lot like Snow Fairy but without the fruity element. I LOVE the way it smells. It’s one of my top five Lush fragrances so it’s nice seeing it in a body scrub now. I got the large 10.2 oz pot which is $30 but they have smaller 4.7 oz sizes for $15 should you want a more affordable option.

It smells pretty yes but also, Lush scrubs are pretty darn great. They have a soft dough-y like texture with a nice gritty feel on skin that turns into a rich, creamy later when water is added. They do an excellent job of exfoliating dry elbows, knees, legs, etc…! They are super slippery or oily either making them easy to use in the shower without creating a falling hazard. They leave skin super soft and super smooth! I’m dry as we all know and these leave my body looking as smooth as glass!

One thing I will mention is they tend to harden up fast so be sure you screw the lid on tightly and if they do harden up you can still use them easily enough! Just take a spoon or a spatula to make getting them out of the pot a little easier.

I absolutely adore this formula and I’m so glad Lush keeps churning out new scents in it. Lush Creamy Candy Body Scrub is available for a limited time but you can always try one of their permanent body scrubs when this one runs out.
