Great quality comb for low cost
This comb is a great quality comb that was at a low cost. Yes the points and edges are a little bit sharp but what can you expect for a couple of dollars? You want your hair straight and looking shabby but don’t want to spend a ton of money on a fancy dancy comb? Boom, buy this one. This is a cheap addition to your date night or getting ready for your next job interview. I’d much rather spend the money on this and buy my date an ice cream cone instead of paying for a much more expensive comb that will accomplish the same thing.

Good, if somewhat brittle feeling
I echo the sentiment voiced by some other reviews: this is neither the most durable-feeling nor high quality comb out there, but unlike another I bought at the same time it actually combs, and really gets down to the scalp, instead of deflecting off. Works and feels great, if a little brittle feeling. I wouldn’t put it in my pocket, but on the counter it’s perfectly safe.

All I can say is I mist agree with other buyers. I could not of said it better myself.1. This is a piece of crap– Ace men’s combs used to be made of a flexible rubber type material that would give to the bend of your butt when you sat down without breaking any of the teeth– not any more– they make of typical plastic and the darned thing is constantly breaking teeth. Worse the teeth are so sharp that they actually snag your hair and scalp– no smooth combing through your hair.2. The comb teeth are abrasive to the scalp and the combs are quite thin and manufactured with something other than the old hard rubber.3. These combs are nothing like the original Ace combs. Their teeth are so sharp you might as well comb your hair with knives. Ouch! I don’t even want to give them away. They’re trash!PLEASE do not buy. I found these: “Set of 5 Clipper-mate Pocket Combs 5″ All Fine Teeth by Clippermate” They are soft and flexible.

My grandmother had the same one when I was a kid and it lasted for years.I used this comb when my hair was wet and it seemed to comb the water out of my hair and made my hair dry faster. I’m on my fourth comb now in 2 years.2023 update: I bought another 2 pack of these combs so I’d have one in my vehicle. The 2023 combs are thinner and have plastic burrs on them. A couple of thrm were sharp. I shaved them off / filed them off with an emory board / nail file. The usual high standard of the past is slipping a bit.
