I like that this has 2 different size shaver heads. The wide one is great for getting the upper area where you have more surface to shave. It makes that go much faster.The smaller size is a great size for more intimate areas. Being smaller it fits the area better and allows for better shaving.If you want a completely smooth shave, you’ll still need to use a razor in the shower. The guards on this help you get the hair down to something very short and easy to handle with a regular razor. You could probably try it without the guard to get an ever closer shave. However, it doesn’t protect you from nicks if you don’t hold the razor just right.

I am confused about all of the positive reviews. I got this because the header says: “Pubic Hair Groomer Painless Hair Removal”. I’m not a waxer, I am a shaver and I suffer from razor burn at times. I have to do time consuming treatment to avoid the razor burn. This sounded great–hopefully quick and no razor burn. Except this is NOT a shaver. It is a trimmer. DO NOT expect a clean shave. This will leave hair behind. In fact, mine was already so short from regular shaving that it did nothing.I gave it 3 stars because it does work to trim the hair between my dogs paws. She is elderly and we have hard wood floors. So when the hair gets long between her pads she becomes unstable. This works great trimming her paw pad hair.

My last attempt at an electric razor was horrible. But I really like this one. It can act as both a razor and a trimmer, with plastic trimmer guides to keep the hair a certain length. For me, the 2 different width razor heads are the most useful. It is easy to change out the razor heads. For cleaning, the instructions tell you to remove the blade assembly. This was scary to me, especially because I couldnât really âseeâ how to do it. You know modern devices â so elegant that sometimes it is even hard to figure out how to turn them on. But I looked at the instructions and pulled the blades back. It worked! And it was easy to put the blades back in, too. The gel is nice, but most important is how the razor works after that gel runs out, and I am pleased with the results. The only reservations I have about this device are 1) I did not see replacement blades available and 2) it requires a 5v/1A adaptor. The instruction manual specifies âDC 5V/1A only.â It says you can plug into a computer or portable power bank (5V/1A). Who has a powerbank of 5V/1A?? Because so many devices are now powered by USB, most of my adaptors are multiple adaptors that supply more wattage. So devices that might be harmed by being hooked into a higher wattage adaptor are problematic for me.
