Worked so great for this acne-prone, combination skin girlie who cannot STAND pure oil cleansers!!!
For reference, I have acne-prone combination skin, and this stuff works so great for me, at an affordable price point, and you get a whopping 19oz, like wow!!Though this is recommended for dry to very dry skin, this is the only facial cleanser I have found thus far that just WORKS for me so well for my nightly routine and I never had any issues with breakouts or anything like that with this product! It foams up slightly for me…but it feels so nice on my face and my skin doesn’t feel stripped of moisture after washing my face in the shower with this.Just a heads up, for those who double-cleanse, even though it says it’s a foaming OIL cleanser…if you look at the ingredients list, the first ingredient is WATER: which means this isn’t a PURE oil cleanser, it’s a WATER-based cleanser with squalene oil IN the cleanser to help aid with moisture. Though, this is advertised as a 2-1 oil/water cleanser, so I love using this as my only cleanser at night to get rid of the gunk and dirt from the day off my face!!As a reference to that above:I have tried the double cleansing routine…for me, whenever I used a PURE oil cleanser, even the hyped up Korean ones, they broke me out SO BAD, even when I used them CORRECTLY(as in applying it on DRY skin with DRY HANDS, gently working it in for about a minute, then emulsifying it with water, and finally rinsing it off). After 1-2 uses of pure OIL cleansers, I had painful acne pop up EVERYWHERE on my face…so the double cleansing routine didn’t work for me unfortunately.BUTTTT since this one isn’t a PURE oil cleanser, this really works for me personally cleaning up all of the dirt, sunscreen, and ickiness of my face without stripping my skin apart…and the best part is, again, it DOESN’T break me out!!I don’t wear make-up, so I’m not sure how this works with getting rid of makeup! Please give this a shot if pure oil cleansers haven’t worked for you!!You can NEVER go wrong with CeraVe!! Works so good and affordable!! 🙂

Great value & easy on skin
It’s a fantastic price considering just how much you get and how long it lasts. I have very sensitive skin and eczema and this doesn’t irritate my skin at all. It gets my sunscreen off really nicely and doesn’t make my skin feel stripped/tight after using it. So I recommend because it hasn’t irritated my sensitive skin, it will last you forever, and it cleanses well.

Great for double cleansing
I got this as an alternative to squalane cleanser because I noticed squalane is usually more expensive than oil-based cleansers. I use this to double cleanse, so after removing my makeup I wash with this, then I follow up with my YTTP cleanser. This doesnât feel greasy or oily and is lightweight, which I was worried about. Doesnât cause my eczema to breakout, and works well to remove the makeup and dirt properly. Really affordable and also nice to use if my skin is feeling dry.

Easy to use, does not dry skin
This is very gentle and does a good job at removing mineral sunscreen and makeup.

Great oil cleanser!
This is exactly what Iâve been waiting for!! This product does not dry out my sensitive skin like other face cleansing soaps do. You only need a drop and it does an amazing job removing makeup and dirt. It does not leave an oily residue behind. My skin feels soft and supple, ready for makeup after use. Cannot find anything like this at the drugstore. It reminds me of a high-end Korean oil cleanser.

Liquid Gold!
My skin loves this stuff. The name is a little confusing – itâs not an oily cleanser that you use as step one of a double cleanse. I donât think itâs effective enough to remove waterproof sunscreen and makeup like your typical oil cleanser would, but its excellent in the morning as a single cleanse, or evening as 2nd step to double cleanse. It contains a small amount of Squalane oil so it does not strip your skin – it rinses clean, but leaves you feeling naturally hydrated. Has no scent. Does not burn your eyes or taste weird. Highly recommend.

Not oil
I’ve been trying to find a replacement for hado labe cleansing oil that increased price 150%. This is not oil. It does foam a little bit. It feels like those foaming handsoaps when the dispenser isn’t working properly and it comes out liquid. Super, super thin. Using on a dry face feels awful compared to an actual cleansing oil. (The instructions do say use on damp skin, not something you can do with emulsified cleansing oils) It doesn’t take off mineral sunscreen very well. (Its been too hot to wear anything beyond a bit of mascara) It did dry out my skin every time I used it.I might go back to old school oil cleansing (rub oil on skin, usually something like avocado for normal skin, castor oil for dry skin, to take off makeup & sunscreen. Wipe off with wash cloth. Rewash with regular facewash. But this method can be too harsh for everyday)Because I absolutely refuse to pay 25 dollars for 200ml of cleansing oil. Idc where it comes from
