Natural dark aburn to Lightest Auburn
Its my first time dying my hair. I have avoided it for years because my hair is naturally Dark aburn. However I live in the desert and that means I cant walk out side longer than to get to my car from any building without getting sunburnt. The result is that my natural haircolor is practically brown unless its in direct sunlight and you can see the auburn highlights. I was skeptical but I did one box of the Lightest Auburn haircolor. I left it in for 30 minutes instead of 25 on accident but the hair color i was left with was just barely darker than the advertized Lighest Auburn. I think if its your first time dying hair and its naturally thick and oils itself easily, that maybe put the dye in for 2x longer than it says to. Otherwise I was and am very happy with the result. I had planned to try two seperate products but thanks to the base haircolor being 2 shades brighter than it has been in years, i can use the other color i picked out as highlight streaks 🙂 I will be buying this again for root touchups in the future. No sunburns = no problem! I finally have my hair back from 10 years ago and I still dont have any gray hairs!

Looked good for first couple of washes…then it started losing color
REALLY LIKED the color immediately after dying.. but after 3 washes, the original color started to fade. I have “dirty” blonde hair naturally, and I wanted to change things up for the holidays. This dyed my hair perfectly. I loved everything about it. Rinsed the crap out of it, water ran clear for a little while before I used their conditioner. Achieved my desired look, I was happy, it was amazing, etc..Then I started to notice I was still getting color in the next few washes.. not much, just enough to tint the water.. Then I noticed the color at the ends of my hair was lightening back to my natural hair color. So now, for the holidays, I have dark auburn roots, but dirty blonde tips, with the color fading in the middle. I even double checked the product to make sure it was permanent and not temporary.. 5 stars for the hair color itself, but 3 stars for permanence.

I have received many compliments on my hair color. Itâs hard to find a good red color or auburn as it comes out in my dark hair at a CVS or Walmart. But I get them here at a good price. Subtle shade recommend.

Overall it is a beautiful color. But what happened was, my hair was light blonde (bleached) at the beginning it came out this beautiful reddish color, but then after a couple washes, the color faded and now it looks like dark blonde/light brown. So just keep that in mind.

My wife got this product, her review: Not only did the hair dye wash out by 80, it made half of my hair fall from the root!!! Itâs been 3 weeks since use and still have steady abnormal hair fall thatâs never happened before in my entire life.No change since then in diet lifestyle and not on medication, used the product exactly as instructed in the box including treatment time.I cannot believe the damage it has done to my scalp, do NOT BUY!
