I love this curling iron. It sat in my cart for months until I got a gift card to help me pay for it. I have long thin hair, itâs straight and pretty healthy so I have a hard time getting it to hold a curl.This curling iron works so good.Very happy with it

I got the 1.25â, now that I try it I wonder how the 1.5â compares. You can achieve loose barrel curls in about 10 minutes for medium length hair. I put the heat setting on 3 and I have medium thickness. Iâve used it twice so far and no issues.

This curling iron slides well, clamps well, and curls well. My hair is naturally curly and frizzy and some curling irons donât smooth the frizz or only temporarily do and then I have a fro after a few hours. But this one does smooth well. The curls hold in my hair all day and even partially with only a five minute touch up the next day.

Itâs a pass for me
Such a disappointment-I didnât care for this iron at all!! Due to the way I curl my long hair, upright and twirling it as I pull it down & out, the bottom rotating setting would turn from where I had it set. I think Iâd prefer locking buttons on the side, instead. I also had it set on the medium setting and saw a lot of smoke coming off my hair. Iâm hoping that was my heat protectant burning off, but I didnât feel confident seeing that and wouldnât get a proper curl with any less of a heat setting. The worst part of it was that my hair got caught in the weird short stand area and I had to break it off to get it out. I ordered the 1.25 inch and it gave me a wavy look, didnât really curl much. I have fine, mature hair- but lots of it. I guess Iâll just stick with my Paul Mitchell Pro and continue to curl in sections.

Worth the squeeze
Wonderful iron for thick hair, holds curl really well, extremely easy to use if youâre not the greatest at hair. The cord length is very long which is helpful and the iron gets to a very high heat for thicker hair types!

Liked the barrel and heat distribution. Off switch is easy to turn off by accident . So you have to keep checking that you havenât turned it off .
