Iâve been using DHC products for years well before they started selling on Amazon or in Ulta and they make a quality product. Theyâre a Japanese brand and the Japanese (and Koreans) are leaders in the beauty and skincare arena which is why I mainly use products from those countries. Iâve always liked this lip cream; itâs simple and not medicated. I have very sensitive skin and I never cared for Chapstick because itâs so waxy and just sat on my lips in a thick, ugly layer. The DHC consistency is more of a creamy wax than a hard wax and I agree that itâs pricey for the quantity, but I have no problem paying a premium for a quality product and it works for me. Thereâs no scent or taste and itâs moisturizing.I usually have a few of them scattered around the house, one in the car and one in my purse. When you get towards the end of the stick, itâs easy enough to use the top of your fingernail (if theyâre long enough) or a clean orange stick to get to the remainder at the bottom of the barrel if you so desire. I hate waste, so itâs not a bother for me, but I think youâll be pleased if you give this one a try. They arrived on time and well packaged.

Itâs chapstick in a tube
I have a daughter with extremely chapped lips, so I bought this on the recommendation that it was the best lip product ever. I canât say thatâs true, but it is a decent chapstick. It goes on smooth, is thick but not sticky, and it stays on for quite a while. But it doesnât necessarily heal lips like a medicated balm would. Ultimately, it seems to be just as good as most chapsticks out there, but the price is a little higher. To be fair, Laneige lip mask is twice as expensive and isnât any better. But Iâm still on the hunt for an affordable balm that will rehydrate lips and heal cracks fast.

Not the same as the one in Japan
I bought this version to see if it was the same as the one you get in Japan. It’s not. Not the same product at all. This one is more like aquaphor in a lip balm form. Not bad, but not the same. It also smells exactly like aquaphor.The left one is the japanese one. The right is the one from Amazon. Big differences

Il prodotto è ottimo. Provato per la prima volta in Giappone (era pubblicizzato in ogni negozio di make up), ma non ha nulla a che vedere con un normale burro di cacao. Questo dura tantissimo, lascia le labbra morbide e idratate a lungo. Ottimo anche messo prima di andare a letto.Decisamente meglio di tanti prodotti anche molto più cari …
