User for more than 30 years
I have been using this toner for more than30 years and always bought it off the shelf in store, until about 2022 it disappeared off the shelf and I could only find it on Amazon.I recalled the price at the time on the shelf was about $9-$15.I started buying this on Amazon at a reasonable price but the price started âinching upâ, then all the way to $60Can someone tell me why a product moved from $15 to $60 in about 2 years?? I really deserve an answer because of my loyalty to supporting the whole line of this brand for more than 30 yearsâ¦cleanser, toner, moisturizer, eye cream.I am more than disappointed, Iâm mourning

Honestly an awesome product (careful using on sensitive skin)
So Iâve been using this toner since like around may 2019 and Iâve loved it more than any toner Iâve ever used in the past because let me tell you, this shiz is not playing sis. She is potent as the day is long. Not even smell wise, just in general. If you have just shaved your lady stache or plucked your brows DONT FLIPPIN USE IT YOULL BE A SAD SAP LET ME TELL YOU (maybe thatâs a given but not for all of us I assure you) but it definately does itâs job. Iâd stay away if you have sensitive skin because this is product did not come to play games. I used to be addicted to picking my skin (mostly my face) like picking things that werenât there just to pick type of picker and I was literally pulling the skin off my face for several years and finally was able to stop with therapy and learning to keep my hands busy but unfortunately I was left with horrible deep craters in my face all over my cheeks chin and forehead, it was definitely a sad reminder of what I had done to myself every time I had to look in the mirror and applying my makeup felt like trying to spackle my face like I was filling holes in the walls of a run down shanty so I started looking for ways to help even my skin out again, Iâm youngish so I still have some precious time to preserve my youth and fix the damage Iâve caused by picking for so many years so I figured might as well give it a shot and this combined with the face wash from this same line by neutrogena have played a pivotal role in rectifying the damage Iâve done to my skin. Theyâre cheap af too compared to other products Iâve looked at with a similar claim and VERY similar ingredients list but Iâd suggest trying it on your arm or neck first to see if you get a reaction because Iâve seen reviews about people getting a bad reaction to it but like I said I think this just might not be for sensitive skin. Iâve got dry skin and Iâve never had a problem with this or the face wash drying my skin out but then again I moisturize like itâs my job so that might play a part in why I donât experience dryness from this product

Amazon is usually out of this product. It works great to remove oil, etc., and closing pores, after washing your face. I try to never be without it.

I got this because I wanted to start a skincare routine and was interested in the alpha and beta hydroxy acids. This thing does not disappoint. I’m a long-time Seabreeze and Biore witch hazel user, but I prefer this one by far. I’ve been using it for a few months now and it has greatly improved the look and feel of my skin. The ONLY downsides are it can cause some skin flaking (particularly around the nose for me) and also seems to agitate dirt/oils under the skin without fully pulling them up to the surface, which is annoying. When I first used it it caused a few clogged pores to become zits, but it was fine because they were then treatable and not stuck in my skin. There’s two small spots now that are just permanently under my skin and not coming up, I’ll likely get some microneedle pimple patches for them. BUT other than that it’s seriously amazing, 100% recommend

Life saver for my acne prone skin.
The smell is kind of strong but okay.The product is amazing.I have extra sebum production and slightly acne prone skin, and this is a life saver. If I have a pimple coming in, I will soak a cotton bud or some tissue in this and let it rest on my skin for probably way too long, but it is SUPER effective at reducing how long I have to deal with the pimple and redness.If I remove sebum from my pores, I will do the same thing: soak a cotton bud or tissue in this and let it rest until it has evaporated.I do get a slight burning sensation because my skin is super sensitive, but I don’t have to deal with any lingering redness the next day from irritated skin. (Both because of removing stuff from my skin with force, and use of the product.)I love this stuff so much.Cons: Do not apply close to your nostrils or eyes though. It will sting and irritate them. Try to avoid breathing in a lot of the fumes, for the same reason.If you have sensitive skin, like I do, do a patch test in a couple different areas, to be safe.

Great skincare addition
I had an OLD OLD OLD bottle of this that I only recently realized is perfect for my aging skin. I bought it in my early 30s and still had it my cusp of 40s.I realized recently that the acids in this toner are perfect for combating sunspots, large pores, skin texture and even fine lines. I now use it almost every night after washing and before using my serums and moisturizer. When I’m feeling lazy, this is my last step and my skin still looks great the next day.When I ran out of my very old bottle, I tried to find it in stores and couldn’t so I tried a few other things and my skin started to go back to the blotchy old mess it was. Luckily I found it on here and I’m considering stocking up for the end of the world because now I never want to run out.

Best For Oily/Combination Skin
I used to be able to get this in stores and I am so very sad that the only place to get it is Amazon. This in combination with Neutrogena’s Cleanser actually brought my skin to life. I get compliments all the time. I’ve been begging my husband to use it and he finally did and now he’s actually saying how his skin is less oily. I really hope they don’t stop making this product because it actually works.

Both myself and my teenage son battle acne, his is quite severe if left unmanaged for a week or more. We use this very liberally after each washing with Neutrogena ‘pore refining’ scrub (two applications each use, to remove enough layers of skin cells and sebum), and Neutrogena acne spot treament (cream) keeps the acne very minimal and anything he gets are very tiny. He has to use all of the above twice per day though. But beats feeding him antibiotics or Accutane like I had to have a few times. The ‘scrub’ is not aggressive so doesn’t irritate existing acne, it’s effective because of the chemical action of two important acids in it.

I decided to try this on a whim as other Neutrogena products have worked for me. I noticed a small improvement after a week, so continued to use it. Several bottles later it has completely shrunk my pores, drastically reduced acne and breakouts, and even helped my hyperpigmentation from skin picking.This stuff is awesome, but it does take time to work – especially if you have very damaged or poor skin. Expect it to take months and at least a couple bottles but it might transform your skin like it has mine. Definitely recommend.

Bought this because I wanted to shrink my pores on my nose, it has done this, but more than that it has helped with my acne. I only use it on my chin and nose, nose for the pores and chin because thats where all my acne is. My scars have diminished and I’m not breaking out as bad. It took a few days to get use to as it is very strong. Smells strong of alcohol and can sting if you have any open areas or cuts on your face. But overall it has been working for me and I’ll continue to use it !!
