These comb applicators is a game changer for me since I started coloring my hair myself. I have to be honest, I didn’t think this applicator will make a difference but I’m glad I purchased them. I only needed one
I was hoping to pay for just one but it’s very affordable and these last a long time. I’m still on my 1st one and I Microwave it with oils in it. It hasn’t melted but I’m sure it would if I put it in the microwave any longer. It’s not thick plastic. It’s bendy. But I really WISH that the holes could have like a switch to cover them and a sliding switch to open them because it’s hard to shake the contents inside of them without pouring everywhere. I give it 3 stars because of that flaw.

Hard to use
I thought these would speed up the time it took to color my roots. Unfortunately they are hard to use. The color solution doesn’t come out evenly and it was messy.

Easy to use
These bottles are a total gamechanger for applying my color. I try every time not to make a mess, and still I always end up with dark dye in places it shouldn’t be. The prong ends of the applicator bottle make applying the dye so much more precise and easy. I just transfer the contents of the original bottle to the new one, then add the activator. It’s so easy to get the dye down to the root without getting too much on my scalp. To be honest, I didn’t even bother trying to clean the one I used. I only dye my hair maybe 4 times a year, so it’s worth the time savings to use a new bottle every time. The gloves, ear covers, and bibs were a thoughtful extra touch, too.

Wow! I like this! I used it this morning to apply oil to my hair and scalp, which is probably the only way I would use it, and I was amazed at how fast my application was compared to using a dropper. For one thing, the applicator’s teeth worked as a tool to separate my hair while also massaging my scalp, saving me from having to use a long-tail comb. It’s easy to squeeze. In my opinion, the main disadvantage is that compared to using a dropper, it tends to dispense more oil. However, it did considerably reduce the time I needed to apply. I like it. I also think that the set is priced reasonably. It was $10 for four applicators at the point of order. It also came with gloves and ear covers, which I didn’t bother to use. Overall, I’m pleased with this order. Thank you.
