I never would’ve thought I would have gunk come off my scalp Iike it did. Eeewwww! But I did! I jus wanted to see if I would because the gunk on ur scalp glogs ur hair follicles & keeps ur hair from growing. So I jus wanted to see but never thought I would have anything for the combs to pick up. But I guess it’s all the hair product I put in my hair for my curls. Plus where I dye my hair. But it was gross the stuff it picked up. And the combs done a great job at that. U just comb a lil hard where ur scalp is & it doesn’t hurt but it picks up all the gunk so easily. I luv my comb! Very sturdy & great great value!

Works, but is difficult to clean
I have dandruff so I’ve been curious about these combs. It seems to work well and it’s gross but also cool seeing the dried skin pop out when pressing the button. The only downside I’ve noticed is that it is hard to wash inside the comb teeth where the hair oils build up. Pressing the button gets most of it out, but it does leave a little behind. I don’t share the comb, so it isn’t an issue for me, but I can see it being a challenge for others. I believe this is typical for all combs like this.The listing is a little misleading by saying it is a lice comb. I don’t think it would be good for that purpose as the teeth are too wide apart. Lice combs are a lot tighter to grab the lice and this one wouldn’t be able to do that.The listing makes it sound like you are getting two combs (“The set includes 1 Stainless Steel Fine toothed Dandruff Comb (Red Long Handle)+1 scale comb (with button).”), but I only received the scale comb. It is made of all plastic, no stainless steel as far as I can tell aside from maybe the springs inside the comb teeth.

It looked like an interesting item, and it was very inexpensive. I used it and was surprised to see the results. If nothing else, I think it’s a great item to stimulate blood flow to your scalp and to remove dead cells/product build up from your scalp. I use it a couple of times a week.
