Works amazing and smells great!
I saw an ad for these guys when I came to re-order my AER deodorant. Decided to try them based on their reviews. I LOVE THIS PRODUCT. When I first opened the deodorant bar I thought it smelled pretty strong like a manly-BRUT smell, but within 20 seconds of applying it the strong scent dissipates and it leaves almost a sweet scent. I have noticed with other aluminum-free natural deodorants that I get a rash after they are applied on my freshly shaved skin, but NEVER has happened with Ursa Major’s deodorants. I sweat a lot during the day since I’m on my feet all day and then go running after work and I also have never had any sweat smells after using this brand. All day I stay smelling fresh and clean no matter how much I’m sweating. I am a huge fan of this brand!!

One of the Worst Natural Deodorants I’ve Tried
First let me say I hate leaving negative reveiws. I’m a firm believer that just because you had a bad experience, doesn’t mean anyone else will. I try to give the benefit of the doubt, especially with a small business. That being said, I feel compelled to write this because there are so many “natural” and less toxic deodorants now, and I have spent soooo much $$$ trying so many of them, and have found that most (like this one) are terrible. This is essentially nice-smelling lotion bar you rub on your pits. And, like if you actually applied lotion to your pits, I think it actually makes mine smell worse once I start moving.It just stright up doesn’t work. I never expected an anti-persperant, only a deodorant that would stop me from smelling like onions on a *normal* day. (I’m not expecting any natural deodorant to work miracles for doing hot yoga.) This stuff makes me smell sooner, and worse, than if I wore nothing at all.I let my sister try it, and she had the same results. Another big hunk of plastic being “recycled” (meaning sitting in a land fill). Maybe your body chemistry will react differently with this stuff.For the record, Green Tidings is #1. Once I found that stuff, I never looked back. Good luck!

Was hoping for a bit better from this brand
I love the scent of this, very fresh and piney! However, it goes on a little slimy and slick. As far as doing what it’s supposed to do, I have used better natural deodorants out there on the market. I dont’ think it worked that well on my sweat. After a couple hours, I kept having to reapply.

Smells Amazing
This deodorant smells soooo good!!!! I gave it four stars because it does burn when you put it on. It goes on wet and it burned me until it dried. Once it dries, it lasts all day. I love the natural ingredients and the fact that it does not have citric acid in it. Honesty, when it comes to natural products, everyones body will respond differently. Something might work for you and not for someone else or vice versa. Overall, this is a good option for those looking for a clean product.

Nice quality product
I like the fresh scent and it has a minty quality to it. Doesn’t leave a film which is nice and does not have a over powering menthol scent to it even though it has a cooling effect when you first put it on. I don’t really sweat that much to begin with or have a problem with being stinky, but if I am going to be out and about all day or go to the gym etc. its nice to have a deodorant on that is natural and works well. Some natural products have oils in them and leave residue on your clothes or can break you out/irritate your skin. This one does not do that. I’ve tried many over the years and this is my favorite.

Smells great at first…
First off this company seems to be using good ingredients, etc with this deodorant, but as I’ve found with other “natural deodorants” it certainly doesn’t work well. The nice smell at the beginning went away for me within a few hours and I noticed BO which is a rare occurrence for me generally… So yeah I’m glad I tried it out but if you’re looking for something that last long this probably ain’t it.

Most refreshing deodorant I’ve tried
I received a travel size in an Ipsy purchase with gym essential items and fell in love with this deodorant. I have been on the market for a good, natural deodorant with no alliminum that would be effective and this is the ONLY one that has worked for me.The other brand I tried to love was Kopari and it left me stinky even after the “detox” period (2 months), so I tried Ursa Majors and it’s been a winner! Love it and highly recommend… Just remembered, these types of deodorants don’t keep you from sweating. What I love is the fresh feeling of the eucalyptus and scent that keeps me from feeling stinky. It’s a great product…it’s not sticky and goes on very smooth.

I figured it was about time I got out of the toxic deodorant game. My B.O. was nearing record ferocity after adapting my diet to (mostly) remove seed oils and incorporating good quality raw meat. Ursa Major seemed to be reviewed well so I bought it on a whim and Iâm sure happy I did. Do I still stink from time to time? Absolutely, Iâm a stage performer so thereâs no way around that BUT this deodorant seems to control my musk more effectively than the drug store stuff. Even better than that, it hasnât stained or ruined my stage clothes so far. Itâs certainly not going to work for everyone as well as it does for me as our body chemistries are going to be different. Trial and error is a must and I certainly got lucky this time. All the best with your stink!
