My favorite dish washing sponge!
The best. Itâs just firm enough to remove grime and soft on the flip side. I keep reordering these. The only thing I will say, they will not last as long as commercial sponges. But itâs not a deal breaker for me.

So strong that one must wear gloves to use these sponges
I like the idea of sponges made from coconut husk and recycled plastic. But these turned out to be so strong on the scrubber side, that can’t get use without wearing gloves. Otherwise, one’s hands get hurt. The soft sponge side is softer, but one still needs to hold the whole sponge. When I use them wearing my rubber gloves I concluded that these sponges clean well, and in a similar way to regular sponges with scrubber. One important fact I just noticed, it’s that these sponges don’t grow as much bacteria as the other ones. I was using a regular sponge from a known brand, and one of these ones. I always rinse the sponges after using them, but in this hot weather they don’t dry overnight. The brand name sponge smelled bad, while this Full Circle smelled all right. Both are new, and I just started to use them yesterday. I was still using the brand name sponge, because the Full Circle is too strong to use without gloves. And sometimes, one just need to wash something quickly without the gloves.

Loving the Rupert Holmes pun! Oh and the sponges are great too.
As designated dish washer until I figure out how to tear out one of the floor cabinets and install an electric dishwasher in its place my cleaning utensils must be up to the task of dispatching many a soiled, food caked dish and soaking in hot water only does so much.My usual go-to was the super market version of Scotch Brite dish sponges with the green scrubber pad, sometimes if I’m feeling fancy I might even buy the name brand but in my experience the quality difference is neglible. My issue with those is the scrubber part, the most important component doesn’t last all that long and greatly affects the cleanliness of my dishes. After a short while the abrasive portion is smooth and leaves food debris requiring an additional pass, wasting water and time. Not so with these! The so far the coconut husk used for the scrubber has been holding up and doing a fantastic job! Will update this review to let you know when the sponge has given up the ghost so you can gauge durability.Do heed the suggestion on the back of the packaging to do another pass with the standard sponge side after scrubbing because I didn’t the first time and there was a greasy film leftover from the beef fat that I was trying to clean from my pan. Doing it their way it came out nice and clean!Did I mention they smell great? Makes me want to eat a Mounds bar or drink a Pina Colada. Sadly the smell dissipates after two washings. Also the name, Cleana Colada? What an inspired pun! That’s my favourite song about attempted infidelity, it’s just so upbeat and catchy. In summary I reccomend them highly.

Absorbent, but not very good for scrubbing burnt-on food
I recently ran out of pot scrubbers and was pleasantly surprised to see this product offered via the Vine program. I appreciate natural products, and I know that coconut husks are pretty tough, so I thought I’d give it a shot. This product looks and feels pretty nice. The sponge is very absorbent, but the textured part isn’t much good on scrubbing anything that a regular dishcloth can’t handle. Also, when the sponge dries, it curls really badly. It might be okay for cleaning the soap scum off your shower, but it’s useless when it comes to cleaning cooked-on foods. The name of this product is really cute, “Cleanyá Colada” sounds like pina coloado. I don’t know what the sponges will sell for, but I wouldn’t pay more than a couple of dollars for the two-pack. It’s a nice idea, but leaves much to be desired.

If you like Piña Coladas…
This is a great little scrubby. It’s heavy duty as noted and is working better than the famous brand on my new radiant stove stop cooking circle marks left by pans. I use this with Barkeeper’s friend and it gets rid of the marks without marking up my stove top. When I first removed it out of the packaging I noticed it has a coconut fragrance which is light and pleasant. I love coconut fragrance but even if you don’t I think it won’t bother you.I read other reviews where someone said it was thin, the two pack that I received were every bit as thick as the well known brand.I was a bit worried at how stiff it is but once moistened it flexes like any similar scrubbing pad. I like how it’s made with recycled plastic and coconut husk. The sponge side is quite soft but it worked well to polish up my stove top. I will follow up on this review to report on how long it lasts compared to other brands.Don’t forget you can use Amazon Smile when you shop to donate to your favorite charity! Great alternative to plastics and other sythetics.
These work as well as any synthetic product, but are made from naturally occurring materials and are biodegradable. They are stiff when new, but soften with use. The scouring side does the job nicely. It is a bit more coarse than some synthetics I’ve used, but that works to clean as well or better. The coarseness does not cause scratching of non-stick surfaces of pots and pans or scratch glassware, china or silverware. I agree with others who have commented on the nice smell — like sweetened coconut. I haven’t used mine long enough to see whether that lasts, but for now, it is very pleasant. Almost makes me want to eat the sponge, but I shall control myself. I don’t think it would be very tasty. Just kidding.
