    For best results read please
For all those that are using this on dark hair and getting upset that all they got was orange, black, please remember with dark hair your undertones will always be orange or red. When I used this I had dyed boxed black hair, I color Oops the black out first that’s the key. I do know on the box are supposed to just be able to put this on black hair and poof. You’re going to have blonde hair. It just does not work that way You must remove that color first. When you put this on your hair you’ll get a much lighter result faster. If you decide to take my advice and color up your color out first, then just apply this with either a 30 developer or I personally use a 20 developer that has oil in it. I got it on Amazon. Just put in the search button oil developer, and I get the one with the red label. It works great and it also helps not to dry your hair out. They sell a 20 and a 30 . The name escapes me right now. I hope this helped somebody.

    Best dye for dark hair!
This is the only dye I’ve tried that actually works on dark hair! It worked amazingly on my hair and left the exact color I wanted.

    You need to purchase developer
The label wasnt clear to me on this that you do need to use this with a developer. I used 20, you could use 30 or 40 for more lift. Easy to mix and gave a subtle lift to my hair, not too much or too damaging.

I think I was sent the wrong color
I never used this brand before. While squeezing it out the tub I seen a hint of pink. I thought my eyes was playing tricks on me. I started to mix it and it turned lavender. This was a unique experience.

    great color but small box
I’ve been using this hair color brand for 10 years and it’s always shiny and beautiful blond color . Since I couldn’t find it to my local beauty shop anymore, I was pleased to find it on Amazon . However , the size of the box is half of the previous one ! it took me twice the amount to do my hair .

This is a GREAT highlighting product!
Originally recommended to me by an employee at Sally’s Beauty, I’ve been purchasing this on Amazon since the pandemic began. It arrives reasonably quickly and is still the best way I’ve found to touch up my dark (and grey-ing) roots. Suggest new customers give it a couple of days before washing hair. The results kind of settle in and become more neutral after 2 or 3 days. Color lasts 4-5 weeks.

    Great change in color!
Great blonde color but after 2 weeks hair started turning orange so it doesn’t last long.

Didn’t get any blonde highlights. I got light brown and I did leave the dye in my hair for one hour

I Looked a bit orange and have some split ends and hair fall but not as much as typical bleach. I strongly suggest getting a purple toner, unless Carrot-top is a nickname you like.
