LOVE IT! Yes it is super long but works great!

This curling iron doesn’t clamp your hair as tightly as some but that’s okay because it makes it easy to turn it and curl a longer section of hair. And I like that the controls are situated so that you don’t accidentally hit the power or up/down buttons for heat while you’re using it.

I know this curling item did not receive a lot of good reviews but i was pretty certain it was what i needed and am glad i bought it. 1 1/2 inch irons are difficult to find and i have wavy wiry hair that requires direction and this works beautifully. Smooths out wiry frizzy stuff . However, i see how it could be difficult for someone who was not real experienced with large irons. Besides the larger barrel, the length of the barrel itself is quite long (they do include a glove for protecting hands & fingers). I am a experienced hairstylist who has worked with Marcel Irons thru my career and that helped a lot. A marcel iron does not have a spring clamp to hold the hair in, it’s loose and you continuously feed the hair thru the barrel by loosening on the clamp and rotating the iron. That’s what needs to happen with this iron especially if you have long hair. You keep pressing on the spring clamp (to lift it and loosen the hair) and rotate the iron as you work. It may be difficult for those without that knowledge but i know many of you are experienced with irons. So, hope that helps.

Stopped Working After 3 uses
I bought this iron less than 1 month ago and it no longer works. The fuse âpoppedâ while curling which was 1. Scary and 2. Inconvenient because my hair was only half way curled.I liked the long barrel and smooth surface. It was super easy to use. The only other inconvenience besides the tool no longer working was the kick stand gets in the way and is a bit annoying.Buy at your own risk!

Doesnât clamp tight enough
I loved the size of this product and the color is really pretty. It comes with a digital display and power button which I also really like (my other iron from conair is so old and still uses a dial for temp, but itâs reliable). The one thing that is bothersome, and is a big deal for me is that the clamp doesnât clamp the hair securely enough for me to curl. I have really thick hair so normal irons clamp really well. For this one It will occasionally clamp if I put a large section of hair in it but I bought this more for my length, not to curl larger sections. Curling larger sections just comes out weird and not how I intended. I really wish it wouldâve clamped down more so that the hair doesnât fall out of the iron while Iâm curling. Another small thing it that the top of the iron gets really hot. Itâs the black part that shouldnât really get hot so you can hold it, luckily this came with gloves that I can use to not burn myself

Amazing Curls
If you want a curling iron for that heats up really fast and provides big amazing curls this the one for you. The handle is long and it comes with a long cord and a protective glove as well because it gets super hot. The ceramic texture is really smooth and it doesn’t pull on your hair. Great tool to add to your hair and beauty collection.

I have long, thick hair. This product is amazing as the barrel is long enough to curl long hairs. The 2 inch is very thick so it’ll give a more loose and flowy curl than a tighter one. U can either fluff your hair or add hair spray on the roots after and it’ll give you that nice blow out look. My only critique is that, bc the barrel is thick and long, it’s weight makes it challenging to use. But you’ll eventually get into a groove of things and you’ll eventually find a way to use it. If u have long but thin hair, or even short hair, I would recommend a thinner barrel (perhaps 1.5) to have that loose flowy blowout look. Overall great product I’m glad I bought it.

These curlers look lovely and are a lovely colour! The size is perfect for thicker longer hair however they burnt my hair which is sad. Unfortunately I wonât be using them again. Maybe I needed a better heat protection spray but they have left my hair dry and brittle after only one use

My hair comes down to middle of back, Cuts hair curling time in half. Can curl section of hair in one go not 2, start with top section then do bottom, like with regular length curling irons. Heats up fast. Canât believe I am Just getting this!

Nice curling iron for long, thick hair! Heats up quickly. Only issue is the clamp is not tight enough at the very base so you have to use larger sections of hair otherwise the hair will slip through/fall out. Probably wouldn’t recommend for finer-haired or thinner-haired ladies.
