Smoother than a fresh shave!
Is this the best-kept secret or what? I had a day two shave, so already some stubble, which I was skeptical this thing could handle. Oh boy did it!! Because itâs exfoliating dead skin at the same time, itâs BETTER than a day zero shave! I hate cutting myself in the shower which I always seem to manage to do. For $10 and ease of use (especially while traveling) this thing is def worth it! Iâve only used it on my lower leg so far, would like to try everywhere else. Works better while wet. Rinse off the dead skin cells every so often. Put lotion on after; skin is dry and itchy. But man am I smooooooth!! Great for my fine, blondish hairs. Time will tell if it causes ingrowns or not but dang, this is so easy!!Edit after a few uses: I am still in love with this thing – for my legs. I tried upper inner thigh near the bikini area, as well as armpits. OUCH. Awful razor burn feeling. So I will stick to my legs, mostly below the knee. Even then, it still takes 10-15 mins tops for smoooooth legs! I like to follow it up with a sugar scrub, and regularly use salicylic acid lotion but so far I havenât had any ingrowns!

I bought this product because I didn’t want to spend 3X the cost of this product for “the purple one.” So glad I tried this! This is so effective and much easier to use than the one I’m used to. I experienced no irritation using this on dry skin, it was very effective in removing my hair. I tried it on wet skin and did experience slight irritation, but not any burning or bleeding as I know can happen with this type of product. Love this and will be buying this again!

I have hEDS. Which means not only is it very difficult for me to shave in general, but I have very sensitive skin. I bought this because I thought it would be easier to have my husband help me shave as my legs hairs had began blowing in the wind and I couldnât hold off any longer. Well. Now I know better. I gave it 4 stars because it worked amazingly on my husbands big hairy toes, and the parts of my legs that arenât shredded are incredibly soft. But just a heads up I guess. This is not for the EDS girlies.

UPDATED REVIEW:It’s been six months of use, and the hair buffer is still going strong. I used to have “chicken skin” and it was such a complex that I always wore shirts with sleeves. The bumps haven’t completely disappeared, but they’re mainly only apparent to me, who clearly is more critical of my skin than anyone else would be. I loved how silky it made my skin feel, but now I have people commenting on how smooth my skin looks. The skin exfoliation you get in addition to hair removal is probably the best benefit. I’ve started to buy these for random small gift needs. They’re definitely going to be stocking stuffers this year. The only thing I would say to ensure the best performance is to clean the buffer every time you use it.ORIGINAL REVIEW:As I aged, the hair on my arms and legs have gotten finer and finer, up to the point that no one notices if I haven’t shaved for months (except for my husband lol). I also have keratosis pilaris, which tends to cause ingrown hairs from my weak hair follicles. I’ve tried various creams and treatments, and this hair remover seems to be the best solution for me so far.So I’ve tried other buff away hair removers, and they end up just abrading my skin and leaving the hairs in tact, because they’re so fine. This one actually works, and with less force and effort than the other sandpaper type buff removers. Don’t get me wrong, if you overbuff, you WILL hurt. It’s like the worst razer burn you’ve had in your life.I’ve had the best results with moving the buffer in fairly large circular motions or just moving vertically, then horizontally across the surface. You don’t need to apply much pressure at all. I’d do minimal buffing the first time to see if it causes any pain, then progressively do more later. The first patch I tested felt fine when I was doing it, but 10min later, it turned red and burned when I applied lotion. Instructions say to use creams or lotions beforehand for sensitive skin. I did that for the small hairs on my upper lip, and it worked perfectly. My skin is super smooth and the baby hairs are gone. I’ve tried using it in the shower with various soaps, and I feel like this causes too much friction, which can cause excessive abrasion.I’d definitely recommend this product, but test in small patches and work progressively with very little pressure. Longer strokes worked best for me, but it my be different for others. It’ll take time and patience to find the optimal amount of pressure and number of passes, but when you find it, it’ll be well worth the effort. I’m so happy I can stop buying expensive shaving creams/gels.

Best purchase I’ve ever made! Soft Skin!
This was a great purchase! I have psoriasis and am in the first stages of a flare up, it didn’t bother me at all. I sometimes cannot shave due to the flare ups so this was an amazing alternative. It does feel like a fresh shave and I think the key is to moisturize immediately after. I have used it on my face, legs and arms and have LOVED the results. I have a good many tattoos as well and if anything, after moisturizer, my tats look fresh and unharmed. This has not cut me in any way. Of course, this is my experience and it may not be the same for others. I used it on dry skin and in circular motions. It DOES exfoliate and remove hair. Face might have a “razor burn” feeling but I used whipped argan oil immediately after and a few hours the “sting” is gone and the results are exactly what I hoped for. I would recommend aloe if you have sensitive skin. I hope this helps someone if you’re on the fence about buying:) Price is right and seems to do exactly what the higher priced one offers.
