HOW TO USE
Step 1
Protect clothes with a towel during application. Section your hair and apply to damp, detangled curls (no need for gloves).
Step 2
Smooth over each section, then rake to ensure it coats every strand. For more even coverage, finger coil each curl with more colour.
Step 3
Flip your head and scrunch the hair to encourage curl formation, then dry with a diffuser to allow the colour to set.
Step 4
After hair is fully dry, scrunch again to break the hard cast. Be gentle to avoid colour fallout. Enjoy your new look!

Amazing product, it is what I have been looking for! It was easy to use and not messy! The color is beautiful! It washes out with shampoo in one wash. This makes me so happy! My bleach blond hair is back to the same color and feels soft afterwards too!

Blonde to Copper
I wanted to test out a copper color on my hair without actually dying my hair copper because itâs so so hard to get out of blonde. I do have naturally curly hair, but itâs not tendril curly itâs more just really full. Put it damp here let it dry to a crunch and then I brushed it out and then I curled it, It does shed like sparkly dust in the air, but itâs good for a temporary color to get a feel for what you like on yourself! It is very messy. Itâs like a super pigmented cream, I donât notice it at all with it either!

Easy for a fun change!
I have only tested this on a small section of hair so far, but was really surprised how well it works. I have medium brown hair with a few grays, and this did give me an obvious color change! I hate the way a lot of curl products feel but this was barely noticeable once I scrunched it out. Iâll try to add pics once I apply to my whole head.

I enjoy the color but it does continue to get everywhere even when dry. Unless you plan on never touching your hair again or going anywhere with it on donât buy this. I canât do anything without getting this stuff all over. I am very disappointed

Loved the copper. Very easy to use and also has some hold. The color is amazing. People thought I’d actually colored my hair. It washes out with water easily. I didn’t notice any flaking or color on clothes after application. The copper is the one I used and it really showed up on black hair. I had a little bit of old highlights left and the color was very bright on those so I assume it would show up well on lighter hair too. Size is great for airline travel (3 oz). Going to get the red next!

This product flakes to much for the amount of hold it provides. Didnât like the formula. Not moisturizing. Some gels have great gold and donât make your hair feel crispy and flaky. My hair very thick, frizzy and a little course. 3a/3b according to the curl chart for reference. The green Eco gel has never failed me, Iâll stick to that. I donât recommend this for my hair type.

Buildable color
I love this gel. I apply it to wet hair and mix it with my regular hair gel. Once it is dry it doesnât transfer. The color lasts until my next wash day and I can easily add more color and it does not create buildup, it just looks more bright. One pic is wet. Second pic is day 3 hair.

How I used this on my type 4a/b hair : Shampoo and conditioned as usual. I did not use a leave in conditioner but instead spread some coconut oil in my hair. Youtube reviews for my hair type suggested that this styling gel would not hold the hair so I first used a generous amount of EcoStyler as a base in sections. Once EcoStyler was applied I rubbed a generous amount of the Curlsmith Hair Color and Styling Gel from root to tip. I instantly loved how bright it was and how it did not negatively affect the hold of the Ecostyler.On another occasion, I washed and styled as usual with KinkyCurly Knot Today Leave In and Curling Custard. I used the Curlsmith Hair Color and Styling Gel to create copper highlights in my bangs.Pro: Very vibrant and made a great temporary colour. Washed out easily. I only used half the tube on my shoulder length hair.Con: Lost its luster after 24 hours and I did not care to re-apply. It rubs off (just a little) if you touch it if styled with the kinky curly custard.
