Never used this brand before, but my son wanted purple hair. We chose this shade. It was nothing like any regular brown dye I’d ever used before. It got EVERYWHERE. We put black contractor bags over the sink and cut a hole to stick over him, and it just stained everything. We were able to wash our surfaces right away with minimal staining left, but his ears and skin and my hands are still purple. But other than that… the color is lovely. He’s very happy with his hair. It was simple to use.

This color works great for me and it stay in for along time. Other then it wash out at the beginning some. But it sticks to my grey hair really good.

I think this hair color is absolutely the most amazing awesome shade of purple. My hair is naturally medium to dark brown, with a miner tint of auburn. I love the shade of purple that I get from this hair dye and my hair is always soft with a nice shine and no hair damage. I have been using it for four years now and will use it always.

I’ve used this one plus many other splat hair colors, this one by far was the runniest I’ve ever seen I could tell right away shaking it ,it was going to be . But sending it back hell it took a week to get here I wasn’t gonna wait that long hopefully turns out ok when I wash it . Next time I’ll see if I can find one closer to home .my stores don’t sell it anymore .I got the purple.

This second bottle washed out for the most part and actually bled when I was walking and sweating. The quality is inconsistent. Back in the 80s the bright colors I used didnât do this

It’s a good hairdye and the bottle size is much larger that most brands but the midnight amethyst definitely wasn’t purple as it suggested, it’s more of an indigo with purple shimmer. Still a lovely colour just not what was expected. I’ll absolutely be buying more just in a different colour.

Tried this product for the first time, and will not be buying it again. The colour is rich… A little tooo rich! I’m still getting purple water in my shower after 3 showers now.. and don’t get me started on my stained skin! Ugh! Horrible experience!
