Detangles, but much bigger than expected!
I’d buy these again in a heartbeat. Do the job and unlikely to break, but I attached picture because they’re a lot bigger than expected. Just be aware. I really like mine. Kiddo likes hers and it’s a good size for little hands to manage. The tines are farther apart than I’d like, but I can give my hair a few more swipes or reach for a finishing brush. The tine arrangement makes it easy to clean for those of us who use dry shampoo and don’t want the build up on the comb to deposit “dandruff” at a later date.Biggest complaint: It doesn’t travel very well because of the size.I got this pack because I wanted to get my friend’s 4yo a friendlier comb to detangle and I needed a new one. Kiddo has medium curly hair (similar to mine) that Mom doesn’t know how to deal with. When I visited them for the first time over the summer, 4’s reaction to having her hair brushed gave me childhood flashbacks! Tender head, screaming, and tears… and that’s before the brush touched her. My mother’s “solution” was to keep my hair chopped so short I was regularly mistaken for a boy. It sucked, so I had to intervene to save this 4yo from a similar fate!I can happily report that these combs meant that by the end of my visit hair brushing time had gone from an ordeal to having 4 ask us to check her hair and/or remind us to “do the back” [of her head].Next child-rearing mountain for 4’s mom: getting 4 to open her mouth for the dentist! Lol!

Combs are nice
The combs are of a good quality and very sturdy. The downside is that they made the teeth very thick. I am not talking about what you can see in the picture but the other side. The plastic thickens as you go from the end of the tooth towards the handle. It get kinda fat, a little fatter than more normal combs but it is solid. It was a normal comb that I literally could not find in the 3 retails stores near me. They all twisted handles and squiggle teeth and wierd gimmicks… I just wanted a wide tooth NORMAL comb to use on my long thick hair once in a while. These should last a while, even my german shepard would take a while to eat it, they are sturdy.

Snaggle prevention!
This is a must have for those with tight curls. It has saved me from having a lot of snags and ultimately hair loss. The comb is thick and firm, you don’t have to worry about it breaking at all, yet it’s lightweight. Magic I guess! I like that it comes 3 to a pack which makes it ideal to gift to other members of your household.

I comb hair. Hair long. Big head. Need big comb. I use this big comb for big head and long hair for big time. Work good. Like. Comb make me happy. Black comb in car, white comb in pocket. Not sure where other comb go. My problem. Comb good. I like comb. Buy it. Like it.

Tooth too wide!
For the price itâs a great value, but I feel like the tooth design is too wide therefore it doesnât get all the knots and detangled hair properly! I have curly hair it didnât work on mine at all this is more for people with straight hair!
