From the moment you push play..!!
This film is outrightly entertaining! The plot is gripping and surprisingly relatable to our current times. The title music and instrumental score are already favorites of mine. They evoke a strong 80s action tough guy vibe, adding tension and setting the perfect tone throughout. The continuity is seamless, and the writing is top-notch. This film has a considerable sense of humour.Humor is woven into the film beautifully, and the original fighting sequences are truly impressive. I imagine choreographing an entire movie is no small feat, but John Francis and cast pull it off brilliantly. Kudos to the physicality of all the actors, especially in the intense close-quarter fights, like the knife combat in the safe house and on the rooftop. If you’re a fan of classic Jackie Chan, Jet Li, or Samo Hung movies like “Wheels on Meals” or “The New Legend of Shaolin,” you’ll appreciate the homage. The kinship and betrayal between Johnny and Nico are emotional. Director John Francis, whom is equally adept, seamlessly blends martial arts prowess with comedy, often simultaneouslyâalmost vaudevillian at times. Trust me, watch this movieâit’s a thrilling ride that will get your adrenaline pumping. I hope Spectrograph Films continues to make more movies! Bravo!

So Glad to see a non-Marvel film for once!
The best part about this film is that it is not a Marvel Film or something with a huge budget! You get to see people starting their film journey with grassroots efforts and putting a lot of their heart into their work. Angel Rodriquez definitely sets himself apart from the rest of the cast with his stoic yet vulnerable approach to his villainous character! Long live Matthias Frost…Weakness is Illness!!!! One of the surprising roles was that of Josh Weinstein as Nico. At first glance, you would not expect to see fluid and connecting Kung Fu movements but he delivers! Excellent job sir. A special statement of gratitude to Mr. John Francis McCullagh. He not only provided the face and comic approach to Eoghan Flynn, but he kept his supporters informed of the film’s progress and even set time aside to speak with all that wished to talk with him about his experience making the film as director and producer. Thank you for letting us come on this delightful journey. All in all, excellent job on a really good film.

Excellent film
I had the honor of meeting the writer/director of this film, Mr. McCullagh himself, at the Billy the Kid Film Festival in Hico, TX where Dead Hand was screened last year. Seeing this again has been such a pleasure, especially knowing what it took to make this film. Action, editing, acting and cinematography are all stellar!! Hats off to everyone on this production, job well done!

Fun and exhilarating!
Watched this movie on our big projector screen and it was super entertaining! The movie is action packed, the actors lovable and the suspense filled with humor as well. The martial arts makes this independent movie an iconic style that can be recognized amongst hundreds of cookie cutters. Highly recommend for anyone who is looking for a visually interesting and entertaining action movie!

Cheesy but fun martial arts-filled heist film
This is a cheesy but fun martial arts-filled heist movie focused around a character named Johnny who’s torn between being part of a gang who thinks they’re warriors and doing the right thing. It’s a decent film that keeps your attention from start to finish. The martial arts is great as well and it’s nice because though it’s action-packed, it isn’t at all gorey. An all-around good movie that I’d watch again with my family.

Choreography Magic
The martial arts choreography in this movie is incredible. Josh Weinstein and Brandon Yates do not disappoint in their hand to hand combat and neither does John McCullagh. The camera work is top notch and the acting by John, Brandon, Josh, and Daniel Vincent Galvin can rival any TV show on network Television. This is a grass roots indie film to support. Help get these great actors seen!

A fun, action-packed adventure
Action, humor, rogue agents, a top secret spy organization, tough-as-nails operatives, acts of betrayal, and a doomsday weapon from another age – this film has it all. Utilizing a truly excellent combination of action, humor, and well choreographed fight scenes, Dead Hand is a very fun 90 minute watch that I highly recommend to anyone who enjoys a good spy flick.

Solid low-budget spy movie with great fight choreography
Great fight choreography, compelling story, and an interesting topic, one that is based on a real thing and not something I knew about previously. Itâs nice to watch fiction and learn something real. Solid low-budget film
