Wow! Where do I start?First of all, if you’re looking into this product, know a few things:1) GET A SAMPLE FIRST! The website was very informative and typically I have good luck ordering foundations online. However, the shades are so very specific, I initially ordered a 140 and it was ALMOST perfect but too yellow for my skin. I ordered from Fenty and it came with a swatch kit with samples (primer, light, medium, dark, and darker tones 150-420 I think) – the 150 was perfect. I would recommend getting this sample kit from their website or testing at Sephora or something.2) This is cheaper off the Fenty website but I believe it evens out if you consider shipping and the fact that it’s expedited. Amazon Prime spoils me so much I forget about shipping most times.As for the foundation: omg. So, I generally use NYX’s dupe of the DermaBlend Dropper foundation (in ‘Light’). This was the best one I found as far as drug store brands go. I’ve also tried NARS but their shades were too ‘yellow’ for me. After “getting into makeup” I decided I wanted to find a nicer, more professional longerwear foundation.I’m a naturally pale girl and around 2010 when I was first starting to buy makeup, I would buy “Porcelain” and it would be the closest to my shade as possible. Now that the shade options are so very vast, if I buy the lightest shade now I actually look ghostly.What I love about this foundation is that they have every shade in EVERY UNDERTONE. So, I bought the right ‘shade’ initially, but it was the incorrect undertone (140). I changed undertones and boom – perf. I normally think of myself as a “cool” undertone but the neutral worked better for me. This is more important than the shade, imo.As far as wear, I put it on without a primer on half of my face the first time. It does take a moment to oxidize and the color changes DRASTICALLY so when you are testing, make sure it dries over 90 seconds to 3 minutes before properly judging. I wore this for about 4 hours and the makeup wouldn’t just rub off of my face (even with water), I needed to properly clean it with facial wash and scrubbing – and without Primer, that’s awesome.It’s pretty full coverage, very light, and smells good! I actually gave my incorrect shade to a friend (she wears that same shade in MAC Foundation) because it felt so good. I feel like the MAC foundations are thick/cakey The bottle itself feels good too. I will re-buy this foundation. This is the first foundation I’ve used that doesn’t make my face feel funny. In fact, when I did the half-face test, the side with the foundation was much softer and smoother when normally I feel sticky/cakey/wet on that side.

While it did take a really long time to arrive, I’m grateful that you sold my favorite foundation that has been discontinued. I would gladly wait for it. It came in good condition and new in box.

Great coverage
I was so bummed that Smashbox discontinued their studio finish foundation and tried several others but they all made me break out or were too heavy coverage! This is perfect- buildable and no breakouts. May be better than studio finish!

In no way is this a soft matte.
No amount of dewy setting spray or moisturizer saves me from looking and feeling super dry. I do use primer. The foundation also made my under eye and eyelids crack and look crusty before I even got the chance to set with powder. I’m cracking all over my face and seeing wrinkles I didn’t know I had. I’m 27.I LOVED this stuff when I used it pre-Covid. I don’t remember it looking so dry. What happened?
