Kent combs are an inexpensive luxury! They are beautifully made, glide through your hair easily and don’t scratch your scalp. And, the price doesn’t scalp your wallet! I’m sorry I didn’t buy this comb (or a few of them) years ago. Having a handmade comb for less than 10 dollars is a fantastic deal. If you are on the fence about spending more than a dollar or two for a comb, make the purchase. You won’t regret it.

Sharp Teeth
The teeth range in length from 1/2″ to 3/8″ long, pretty short. Contrary to other reviews, my comb arrived with sharp teeth that had to be run over sandpaper a few time to dull the points. The comb is kind of short when held in a men’s hand. I bought it and will keep it because it is the only full length comb that I could find that has closely spaced teeth along the full lenght.

I bought another Kent comb first and liked so much bought this one. Nice smooth comb, soft yet sturdy, and is just the right size. The teeth are actually quite soft yet sturdy.

It feels silly to pa so much for a comb (esp what it costs here in India), but you wonât buy it unless you want a piece of history – these guys are the brush makers for the English regency since the 18th century.As for the comb, itâs excellent, surpassing every other comb Iâve used. Mind you, the Indian brands Roots and Vega are also hand made from cellulose acetate, and excellent value for money if you are looking for anything behind plastic combs. But Kent combs are in a different class, and you realise as you hold them. Even the translucence is so much more. The combs have good bite, without scratching your scalp. Roots used to be good too, but recently Iâve found their quality wavering, couple of the recent ones I bought here were too smooth to comb well.I hope the Kent are as well made as they are made out to be and last long without losing their combing property or teeth. This particular model is for short-medium menâs hair. For longer or womenâs hair, look at other combs in their lineup.
