Mandelic acid is an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) known for its large molecular size allowing it to penetrate the skin slowly, reducing risk of irritation while it works to exfoliate the outer layer of the skin, promoting cell turnover, targeting tone, texture, and signs of aging. Phytic acid is a gentle exfoliant and antioxidant derived from rice bran that can help brighten and protect the skin. Gluconolactone is a polyhydroxy acid (PHA) with both exfoliating and hydrating benefits. Wonderful
I love this acid by Good Molecules. I suffer from rosacea with both redness and broken capillaries so using something that exfoliates gently enough is usually tricky. I have no reaction to this product whatsoever and I use it 2-3 times per week. My skin definitely feels soft the next day, as I wear it overnight. Not as strong as other exfoliators but that’s the point so that it doesn’t cause any irritation.
