What?? This is so cheap and works so much better than any straightener I’ve owned. Here’s the big caveat… you have very little control over the ends of your hair.I’ve owned Solia, Chi, am currently using the white T3… my hair has never been easier to straighten or as straight on the top of my head. You don’t get the wavy crimp lines from a flat straightener because this thing basically combs into your hair and straightens from the root out an inch so there is no way to have a crimp line. I am blown away by how shiny my hair looks. And it was crazy easy. Took no effort. In fact, you almost have to use bigger sections with this tool than with a flat iron straightener.Okay so here’s the snag, and you can tell just by watching any video of someone using it. You need to hold pressure on your hair to hold it inside of the tool, so when you get to the ends and have to let go, there is no way to really control the ends. I was able to hold my hair until the last little bit slipped from my fingers and I managed to curl the ends under. The finished look is great. But if I wanted it to be stick straight all the way to the end, not curled under at all, that would be a little harder.Does this replace a flat iron? No. I often straighten just the ends of my hair after curling it, and I could not do that with this tool. However, this thing is waay faster and easier and makes my hair shinier and smoother than a flat iron.The heat up time is slow. At first just the top blue light was blinking and I thought that meant it was warming up. Nope. You need to hit the power button (again?). The blinking blue light apparently just shows you it’s plugged in. Once you hit the power button, the white lights will indicate the power/heat level and the top blinking white light will become solid once it’s done heating. It took maybe 30 sec – 1 min longer than my usual flat iron heat up time.Safety/fire prevention… so this thing would be harder to burn yourself on for sure. Also, the actual hot plates don’t touch your counter or anything other than your hair because the guards block them. The back of the tool is flat. It DOES get HOT, but touchably hot. It might melt plastic carpeting. But I have no concerns with setting the flat backside directly on my counter, which means I no longer have to balance a straighener on its case or a hot pad.I am just in shock… I didn’t expect this cheap thing to work so well. I literally just bought a dyson airwrap after years of wanting one and am not nearly as blown away with it.This would be a great gift for anyone into beauty or hair because it’s not a common device to own and works amazing and is relatively inexpensive.So glad I tried it.

Very economic and works well
Good design, quality (for the money), ideal temperature, I didn’t see a whole lot of change going from setting two to setting five on three hair. Seems like great packaging and ascetically pleasing but would like less of that for a lower price point. Will see how long it lasts, but first impressions are good.

I love this new straightener. I was super skeptical about trying another brush straightener after all of the letdown I’ve had from the previous couple I had tried. After a friend of mine and my sister both separately told me about this awesome new straightener they found out about literally a day apart I decided I had to look this bad boy up on Amazon instantly. Lol. Luckily for me, the day I looked it up, it also just happened to be on sale! I took that as a good omen and bought it right then. I have long, curly, super frizzy hair naturally and with all of my past straighteners, it would always take me at the very minimum, an hour to do my whole head(and the back of head is shaved up to the top of my ear), even my Chi one took an hour- hour and a half. This lovely little gem on the other hand, the longest amount of time I’ve spent doing my hair is maybe 20 minutes, and that’s only because of how crazy I am about making sure it looks perfect, I’ve had my head done in 10 minutes at the quickest… AMAZING! The temp gets hot enough and it feels very durable. It beats up so quickly! They weren’t lying about the minute heat up time. It’s on the smaller side but that doesn’t stop it from doing an amazing job on my thick hair as the pictures show. The only downsides it seems to have are the fact that it does sometimes pull a little bit of hair that I then have to pull out of it but that’s not a big deal for me and I wish you could lock the buttons on it while you are doing your hair. I hit the buttons all of the time(I’ve done the same with every other one I’ve ever owned that didn’t lock also). I’m not sure who to blame the button hitting on, their design or my inability to put my fingers in the right spots to stop hitting them. Lol. All in all though, definitely buy this! All of the good things you’ve heard about this awesome new helper are totally true. You will NOT regret buying this! I bought my sister one for Christmas after the first time I tried it. Lol.
