Best value hair dye so far!
Best value hair dye I’ve found so far. Color stays on quite well (2-3 months) before needing to reapply. I use this to cover up grays. Comes with gloves, and really to use instructions. For shorter hair, you can use an old bottle to split the product in two to save money. Just make sure the ammonia is sealed. Instructions are clear. It does stain a bit, so make sure you use it in an area that you’re okay getting stained or easy to clean areas.

Pretty color
Usually I use light or medium brown. Figured since autumn is here I would try something new. I’m so happy I did, it’s such a beautiful color and great for them stay grays. also! From Starr to finish it was easy, directions are clear to understand. Will purchase again!

Good Dye for DIY Hair Color
Love this color and have used their products many years for doing own hair.When budgets are tight this is my go to w another contrasting color I mix my own color. Nothing crazy just enough to give a bit of contrast and what looks like highlights as I am over 50% gray now around temple and hair part.This stays in about 4-8 werks depending how thick I apply it to hair. I do add hair cap or Cling wrap girls on a budget lol and use hair dryer on low setting for free mins 10 mins or so.My natural color was about one shade lighter but most people think itâs my orig hair color and I have very little grays honey if they only knew LOLWorth value and came wrapped in plastic bubble packs no damage or leaks.

I always get a wild hair up my b*tt and cannot wait for my hair appointment so I bought this color to do my own hair. The product seems like its a good quality but it’s no professional. If you’re trying to save money this will color your hair nicely but you can always tell when someone’s done it at home vs. going to a salon.The color was a nice deep red and glossy

Best and cheapest hair dye
I dye my hair a lot so I really do need a hair dye that is cheap and that works well. I don’t mind this one doesn’t last as long as others, because the price is so cheap I can buy more of it when I need it. It lasts about 3 weeks and after that you’ve got to dye your roots again. But it’s only in the front so you could always just wear black eyeshadow instead.

Love this color
Got what must have been the last one of this discontinued color, Light Auburn. It’s too bad since Bright Auburn looks brassy, and Strawberry Blonde is too blonde, not enough red. Colorsilk suffered when Revlon made Buttercream. They put all the best ingredients in that (and I used it–it was great), but they seem to have restored Colorsilk to its original formulation now that they discontinued Buttercream, and it is gentle and not drying as it was for a few years there.

Simply the best, most long lasting ‘home’ hair color out there. I have used several times now, have to switch between colors sometimes, but LOVE this kit. It is simply the best.

TOO DARK!!
I was looking for a light, warm brown color after dying my hair reddish blond for many years & this looked like a good choice. My real color is dark brown. My hair was reddish blond with a lot of gray before trying this. The color came out DARK AUBURN — extremely dark!!!! Even allowing for some difference from colors shown on the box, this is NOT the color that I thought I’d get. The good: no scalp irritation, no fragrance, good conditioner & my hair is thicker. But it’s going to take awhile before I can re-color to a different shade, hopefully one more to my liking. I’m not likely to use this brand again.
