I bought this product for other uses. I tossed 2 tablets into my carpet shampooer this morning. Did a great job. Then I tossed in a tablet along with 1 pod of DW soap and also great results. I guess it will also work to remove stains in coffee mugs, carafes, etc. When I used it in my carpet shampooer, I used very hot water and the tablets fizzed at the bottom for a couple minutes. Added the carpet shampoo and off I went.This is a GREAT value.

These are SO cheap and work so well. They have a nice minty scent to them and don’t leave a strange taste behind. They also don’t leave a filmy residue that hand soap does, if you try to clean your retainer with soap. Sometimes I use these for 3-5 minutes or a few hours…both work just as well and I feel like my retainers get clean every time I use them! I use them day and night

I have used Efferdent Retainer Cleaning Tablets for several years now and appreciate their anti-bacterial cleaning power. I use warm water and drop a tablet into a small ramekin to do its fizzy cleaning job on my mouth guard once or twice a week. At one time, I wondered about a Best by Date and didn’t see one on the box. So, I called the company and was told there isn’t one, and the box of tablets that are sealed in individual packets just needs to be stored away from heat and excessive humidity. Depending upon how often you want to use one of these tablets to do a thorough cleaning of your dental appliance will obviously determine when you will need to order another box. The current price of $5.74 at the time of this review is reasonable for a 126ct. of these tablets.
