    Works every time!
I’ve used multiple shades of this gloss, but this time I used the cool medium brown to try and get back to my natural color and tone out the blonde, and it worked. Before pic is on the left. This stuff is so easy to use, and it always makes my hair super soft. I brush my hair first, then take my hair in sections and put the dye on, brush that through, until all the sections are done. Don’t forget your gloves!! I put Saran Wrap on my neck and shoulders while I’m applying everything, and then while I’m waiting I wrap my hair in the Saran Wrap again. It says 3-20 minutes, but I’ve let it sit for up to 40 to make sure it sets in. The darker colours fade kind of quickly, but the closer you stay to your original color the longer it lasts. I love it.

    Subtle
This is a really nice product. I wanted to add a warm subtle enhancement to my hair and the result is really nice. The ends of my hair are very blonde and the top/ middle of my hair is a medium blonde with a little natural warmth to it. I wanted to enhance the warmth throughout, brighten it up and blend it together by using the strawberry 🍓 color. After a wash and a dry I was so pleased. I didn’t want to alter my hair color too much. It definitely did what I wanted it to do. 🙂 I do hope the company decides to use organic nourishing ingredients in the near future though.

Great product but not so semi-permanent
I use this to easily cover my greys without as much damage as regular hair dye or having to go to the salon every 4-6 weeks. It gives me a beautiful, natural look. It’s easy to apply, covers my greys, and leaves my hair looking and feeling healthy. I wash my hair, wring it out, apply the gloss, finish my shower, then rinse it out, and condition with my regular conditioner. It doesn’t have a strong or unpleasant odor. It doesn’t wash out completely, even after 20 or more washes. It does temporarily stain your shower but a good scrubbing with cleanser and it’ll come off, same for your skin. It will stain your nails so I wear gloves when I apply it and rinse it out.

Added copper tint to dark brown hair; dyed scalp orange; washed out in one week
Wanted to try a penny-like copper on my completely virgin medium/dark brown hair. I figured a gloss like this in Copper would be a good temporary way to test out whether or not I liked the color, but didn’t have high expectations starting with quite a dark base color. I did a strand test first using hair from my brush and it seemed to give it just a tint of copper, so I took the plunge on my whole head.I used a clarifying shampoo in the shower, then applied this with gloves on very damp hair and clipped it up for the rest of my shower, about 15 mins, then rinsed out. I have fine, thin hair about 4” past my shoulders and used about 1/5 of the bottle for this. I was pretty surprised by how long it took to rinse out – pink/coral water just kept coming and coming with no end…I felt like I was rinsing all the color out! Finally I decided I couldn’t rinse any longer…And got out of the shower to see my scalp dyed bright Halloween orange! So it was back in the shower and did some more scrubbing and rinsing to try to remove the scalp stains (which helped a little but my scalp was very much still bright orange for multiple days afterwards – thank goodness I did it on a weekend where I didn’t have to be anywhere). Once dry, I could see my roots tinged ever so subtly red-copper but there was absolutely nothing on my lengths or ends. I figured maybe my base color is just too dark for this color, but decided to try one more time. The second time, I decided to apply it to dry hair to see if that would help it take more color. I applied it dry (used much more product this time, about 1/3 bottle) and let it sit for about 30+ mins before rinsing it out in the shower (no shampoo). Same rinsing scenario – I must have been under the water for 10+ minutes doing nothing but rinsing and rinsing, and coral pink was still pouring from my hair until I eventually gave up. So don’t expect this to rinse clear! You can see the results from my photos – you can definitely notice a red/copper tint to it, which was more obvious in person and in direct sunlight! I imagine if you’re starting with a lighter base color, you’d definitely see more result. No real noticeable results in terms of glossiness, softness, nor shine, but my hair is fairly healthy to begin with.Besides my scalp being orange for days, another big con was the fragrance: I’m used to using all fragrance-free products so the smell of this was incredibly perfumey to me. The nights after using it, I kept waking up feeling like I and my pillow were just engulfed in this strong perfumey fragrance. Would have been much nicer if it had no added fragrance and that alone makes me hesitant to use it again. It washed out to the point where it wasn’t noticeable anymore after only about 3-4 washes. I wash my hair every other day so for me this meant it lasted only about one week. And I had to use a towel and pillowcase I didn’t mind getting stained the whole time since so much color poured out every shower and it was staining my white towel (luckily this came out in the wash).Overall: since my base color is already quite dark and it only lasted about 1 week on me, I can’t say it would be worth using this again. The scalp staining and the fragrance make it even less worth it. But it definitely worked for a subtle tint. Apply it dry for the most color deposit. And if you’re starting with a lighter base color, I imagine the results could be pretty dramatic.

    Amazing product
It did more than I expected. As you can see my hair has a lot of orange so I decided to go with a cool brown toner instead of the original brown and it did amazing balancing out the tones and gave me a perfect brown. It is so easy to apply, took me 10 minutes and then I left it for another 10 minutes before washing it out. Doesn’t stain my scalp and if you get it on your skin it can be easily removed with alcohol pad. Washes off easily in the shower. It looked even better in real life than this picture. It lasted 5 washes for me (I use clarifying shampoo but I think if you use the original, it will last even longer). For my hair I used a quarter of the bottle so I still have enough for 3 more treatments, and I’ll definitely repurchase… recommend.

    OMG
I was skeptical at first ( I’ve had some bad turn outs doing at home hair coloring) but finally decided to do it.. I am so glad I did!! My hair is always highlighted blond over ash blond natural hair and had grown out a bit,, I bought the medium blond and left in for the full 30 minutes, rinsed it out dried and styled.. soft and shiny!! Beautiful!! And there’s enough left to do several times more!! Love this product!! I have thin fine hair .. this really gave it a nice volume boost!

    AMAZING FOR COLOR REFRESH!❤️
Do not let the bad reviews deter you- I LOVE this product! I have been using this on my ends to refresh my copper/red color with a little to no damage. It does an incredible job of keeping the color bright – since I have started using, I have not needed to re-dye my ends. Highly recommend!

This stuff is incredible!!! I have some white hair and this made them way less noticeable after only one use. I use the light brown and left it in for 20 ish minutes. My hair is shiny and has still stayed shiny and full looking even after like 5+ washes. Great thing is that it’s so easy to use. I put lotion on my hands before using it and my hands weren’t stained, it didn’t stain my tub or my towels which to me seems crazy given how great this stuff works.

It ruined towels. It ruined pillowcases. It is messy to apply and provides uneven results. Level 7 natural hair turned dark auburn and the lightened parts turned a shade of red-auburn-ginger. It stains the skin and because of lack of good instructions, I ended up with scalp with patches of copper color. With each hair wash, you wash out a lot of color so the “color boost” will cease to boost after three hair washes. If you wash hair once a week then maybe it is worth it… I don’t know. don’t understand the point of this product. It is far easier to simply use a permanent dye once in a while.

I purchased the product due to the toner and the leave in conditioner aspect. The leave in was good, not great. The toner did not work at all which was disappointing. I have bleached hair and was hoping to tone the colour. Did not work for me despite instructions. Good for leave in but not so much for colour.

I’m a dark blonde with highlights. My colour in the winter tends to look gray and so I wanted a little warmth. I purchased the strawberry blond. I left it on for 1 on the front areas that are bleached and 3-4 mins on the rest of my hair. I really suggest to start with a little.
