The long handle
I prefer sponge applicators over brushes but the ones that come with eye shadow have a really short handle. These work so well and the long handle makes all the difference. Itâs a great buy.

Large eyeshadow applicator
These eyeshadow applicators are much bigger than I anticipated. Which actually works to my advantage as these are perfect size for applying stage makeup, when you want a lot of eyeshadow coverage. They are soft but sturdy and they pick up a lot of product. They may not be as good for precise work. There are 10 in the pack so they will last a while.

Nice size for face art
These are a nice size for using with stencils and powders for Face and Body Painting. The white swirls are face paint, the snowflakes a white powder called star blends but you could use eye shadow…and a stencil. These pick up powders nicely and apply them smoothly. The ‘sponge’ area is less than an inch, they are smaller than other types of lollipop blenders or smoothie blenders. But of course larger than a typical eyeshadow sponge. You could certainly use them for regular makeup especially if you were laying a base color for eyeshadow or drawing contours.

Have been looking for these for years!
I used to buy the brush sets at Walmart after Christmas when they were 90% off just for this brush. Then I ended up with brushes I did not need just to get this one. I love this set! I could not find them sold separately like this for a long time. I am glad they are being bundled like this now! They work well and are soft and very much like I remember! I will be buying again.

These are great!
I know that bristle brushes are all the rage when it comes to makeup application these days. Call me old fashioned, but I just prefer sponges…especially for eyeshadow. These have a very fine texture that are particularly good when it comes to blending. They pick up a lot of product though, so use light pressure on your eyeshadow palette for the first few passes until you get used to them. They wash easily and dry quickly. Really, I’m impressed.

Large size but good eyeshadow applicators.
These applicators are a larger size than expected. Although I have many eye shadow brushes, I actually like to use sponge applicators. The ones that always came with the eyeshadow were always so small & hard to hold that I really like these better.If it works for your eyelid, the sponge applies & blends out eyeshadow very well. But a mix of different sizes, including some smaller ones, would have been a good idea. The handle on these is nice and long and well made with a nice smooth feel. They don’t feel lightweight & flimsy.

Quality Brushes
These are much better in quality than I expected. The handles are made of wood and metal and have some weight to them. The brush head is a nice soft, dense sponge that is great for spreading. There are a total of ten in the pack. If I had to make a suggestion, I would say these should come in a variety of different brush head sizes. These are all the same and seem a bit large for my small eye lids. But YES, they are great quality brushes.
