    Guru Nanda Keeps Nailing It!
I’m the first to ashamedly admit that I’ve struggled to take care of my teeth across my lifetime (denial logic told me that because I had straight teeth, I had healthy teeth). An innumerable amount of dental procedures over the years and a specially curated “Dental Playlist” later (only the loudest possible songs played through huge noise-cancelling headphones to not hear the sound of the drill and other tools that still give me nightmares to this day), and I finally found a dentist I’m not terrified of going to see. My new dental hygienist recommended – a bit *passionately* I might add – that if I was struggling with regular flossing, I should at least get a water flosser and see if that gave me a different sensory experience, giving me even the slightest bit of hope that for once, I might not hate the feeling of taking care of myself (as opposed to the dread that overtakes my brain when I think about the upcoming tooth torture I feel like I’m subjecting myself to every time there’s a flat minty string ripping my gums open).I caved into getting Guru Nanda’s oil pulling rinse a while back, and even though some people might say it doesn’t do much, for me, I consider that me oil pulling is better than me not doing anything else to clean my mouth for days in a row like I usually would (other than scraping my teeth clean with my own fingernails). However, because I also HATE the sound of toothbrush bristles on teeth – it’s my “nails on a chalkboard” but ten fold (and yes, I’m aware of how aggressively my ADHD shines/annoys at every turn throughout this review in what appear to be complaints, excuses, etc.) – I’ve never found much success with standard, non-electric brushes, and even some electric ones. That same new dental hygienist of mine also recommended a good electric toothbrush to me, but y’all, I couldn’t afford that. I have student loans and credit card bills. A toothbrush for several hundred dollars, plus a Water Pik or other wired-up looking water flosser, PLUS the looming dentist bills I know I’m about to endure? Couldn’t be me. I’ve done so much better with Guru Nanda’s oil pulling rinse and a couple of their other products over the last several months, so when I saw they had a combo pack Water Flosser + Electric Toothbrush (and in purple?! Stunning.), and I could also afford it?! Jumped on it before I could hyper-fixate any further on the whole idea. Since then, I can wholeheartedly say that not only does the Water Flosser work like a charm with all 6 or so of its variations, but the accompanying Electric Toothbrush is so SO nice to use. I don’t have the bristles/nails-on-chalkboard issue anymore, because it has multiple speeds and functions that feel perfect with what I honestly thought was gonna be way too small of a brush head. Turns out, the smaller brush head – compared at least to a standard toothbrush, and not considering the circular ones that are also pretty standard for electric toothbrushes, which I know are also usually smaller than standard of course – gives me so much better control, and it’s powerful enough that I don’t have to rub it back and forth across my chompers and hate the experience all over again. I can target each tooth, comfortably and confidently. And the Water Flosser?! Before or after brushing, it’s great for me. I know you’re supposed to also regularly do standard flossing, but again, for me, I’m really only in my “it’s better than nothing, which is all I was really doing before” stage of self-care mentality glow-up, so the fact that I’m using this thing as much as I am is a huge testament to this thing. BUT PLEASE USE CAUTION WHEN IT’S IN YOUR MOUTH SO THAT YOU DON’T ACCIDENTALLY AIM IT AT THE BACK OF YOUR THROAT AND INJURE YOUR THROAT (and your ego…). This thing does have some kick to it on its “Normal” settings (which is the highest it goes), so just be sure to have a smidge of awareness for this one. Save the daydreaming for the teeth brushing, like I do, because I’m not horrendously distracted by the sound and feeling of stupid bristles rubbing against tiny bones anymore.I so far have complete trust in Guru Nanda’s brand and products as far as I’ve used them, and this set of devices has only further solidified that. Basic additional notes are that I’ve been using these regularly (well, semi-regularly – I’m only but a work in progress still) for the last several weeks, and I haven’t charged the Water Flosser yet once. Admittedly, I didn’t even charge it when it came out of the box, like you’re supposed to. The toothbrush I’ve put onto its charger after every use so far, just because it’s a perfect little stand for it. I also enjoy that it comes with a set of travel cases – a hard case for the toothbrush with a space for an additional brush head, and a soft zip-up pouch for the flosser. I haven’t looked up the prices or ease of getting replacement brush heads in future, but this came with a total of 4 of them, so I have one being used now, and three more at the ready straight out of the box. I like the feel of the material, the color I have (Lavendar) is easy on the eyes and looks superb and fancy as a matching set, making it an additional bit more enjoyable for my brain, and it’s all extremely user friendly. I think my only two minor itty bitty downsides are that the Water Flosser’s head can’t be rotated 360-degrees like I think I’ve seen other ones do (but since I haven’t actually experienced that, I can’t say for certain that lacking that feature is either a pro or a con), and that the Water Flosser doesn’t have a simple charging stand like the toothbrush does. I know the battery is likely longer lasting on the flosser for whatever reason, but the fact that I can just plop the toothbrush down and pick it up with efficiency when I need it, versus having to physically plug in the charging cable into a port on the flosser is a minor inconvenience. For someone like me, who has struggled their whole life with trying to trick themselves into ways to make doing the right/healthy things easier by removing minor obstacles so that their brain has precisely zero excuses to fall on, that’s really the only thing about the water flosser that I wish could be upgraded; and like I said, thankfully, I haven’t even had to charge it yet once since taking it out of the box, so if that’s the only inconvenience, and it’s one that doesn’t even affect the user day-to-day, then to me, it’s absolutely worth it still.I admit that I got pulled into Guru Nanda’s products via social media influencing, but I also admit that I’m glad I did. I finally have a real shot at taking better care of myself right now, so my deepest thanks goes to Guru Nanda right now.

    Favorite tooth brush!
I bought two of these because we love them so much. Comes with water flosser and tooth brush that work amazing. Extra heads for when you need to switch out your toothbrush head. The settings on the toothbrush is so easy to use and nice you can choose your own speed. It is a smaller head and easy to manuever around your mouth. Nice that it comes with a cover, but would love one that fully covers the head instead of just slides on. I would regularly recommend this to everyone.

    Amazing!
Got this set a few months ago and I’m in love with it! I have very sensitive teeth that stain easily, other sonic brushes have worked but they’re a bit intense, but this toothbrush is so nice! My teeth feel and look clean, and there’s no soreness afterwards. This is be first waterflosser I have used and it’s been incredible. The different modes made it very easy to get my mouth used to it, and it helps clear out so much that I would struggle with floss to get. The package came early, and it came with plenty of extra brush heads and different bits for the flosser, and the color is beautiful! Exactly what I was looking for. I’ve seen a big improvement with staining, I’m very happy!

    Absolutely amazing but…
I love this product. I got the Lavender purple toothbrush and waterpik set. The water pressure on the waterpik is what I needed and was a game changer to my oral routine once I got my braces put in. The only problem I found is that I can’t find the lavender purple replacement heads for the tooth brush. Functionality is great, it is easy to use, has a great battery life. I would be lying if I say I wasn’t drawn to this product because of aesthetics – so I’m a bit disappointed I couldn’t find the brush heads in purple.

    A must have!
This product was a must have for me! I don’t use string floss daily as I have a young child who doesn’t give me a lot of time for self care. This water flosser changed the game for me! I love that it has different settings on it. It started it out on soft mode and worked my way up to normal mode! The toothbrush works great! I’m not picky about my toothbrushes as long as they are soft and clean my teeth but this one definitely gets the job done! The timer on it makes it very easy to make sure that I’m cleaning my teeth for the recommended 2 minutes.I only have to charge these once a week as the battery life lasts a long time! I also love the travel cases that come with it because it makes it very easy to bring them with me while making sure they don’t get dirty in my bag!

    Works great!
I love this set. I got for me, my son and my father. We all live using the water pic. Gets everything stuck in between your teeth. Feels super durable. I barely have to charge. Super functional. Not to big, they fit right in the medicine cabinet. It comes with a case so if you want to take it on the go you are ready to do so.
