I Finally Found It!
I have been using a Korean makeup brand for the last 10 years, and am now unable to get it in my preferred shade in the US. I have been searching for a replacement for it and at long last, I think this is it. About my skin: I am fair with some oily skin and some dry patches, I use SPF 50 moisturizer prior to applying makeup, and I don’t need heavy coverage. Things I look for in a makeup: SPF 50, light to medium coverage to even skin tone, and gives that slightly dewy glow. I have tried a lot of brands trying to find this combination (which I was getting from the makeup I can no longer get). Here is the breakdown for this product:Pros: SPF 50 (fully protected my skin outdoors for a couple hours without the need to reapply), easy application (I like the way the compact is built to have a place to dab excess off the cushion applicator), nice coverage (not full by any means, but enough to even out my skin tone), the range of available shades is nice (it is often difficult for me to find something that matches my skin tone), price (costs half what I was paying for my old makeup).Cons: need to use extra moisturizer prior to applying to avoid dry appearance. Does not give quite the dewy appearance that I like, but my skin does look healthy in this brand.I also want to give kudos to this company for offering a trial / travel size! I really appreciated being able to try out the makeup for $10, rather than paying $30 for something I might not like. The travel size fits perfectly in my purse too.The bottom line: I really like the protection, coverage and look of this makeup. I’m so happy to have finally found a reasonably priced alternative to my old makeup!

light coverage
The foundation is decent, but it doesn’t provide the coverage I was hoping for. I have some freckles and discoloration, and unfortunately, this foundation doesn’t fully cover them. Even with a few layers, the coverage still feels light, so it might not be the best option if you’re trying to even out pigmentation.That said, the finish is nice and it feels comfortable on the skin. Plus, the size is great for beginners who want to give it a try without committing to a full-size product. If you’re looking for a lightweight foundation for a natural look, this could be a good choice, but if you need more coverage, you might want to explore other options.

Buy it!!
I have honestly never written an Amazon review, but I just have to for this stuff! I was hopeful but not really expecting it to be that much better than any other foundation I would normally use. And I have tried so many, from expensive brands to drugstore brands. But this one is the best EVER! I have about a million freckles but after using just a minimal amount, my daughter said “omg where did your freckles go?!” It evens your skin flawlessly and looks so natural! It has a nice sheen to it which looks healthy but not greasy or sparkly. The shade matched my skin perfectly, and it really only took a little bit of product to get perfect skin. I really can’t believe how good it looks! It does have a makeup smell, but it’s not overwhelming. I will definitely be buying this for life now. Do yourself a favor and buy it!

Not great for my skin type
First let me preface this by saying that I didn’t pick my right shade. Perhaps in the winter this would work but it was a bit light for my summer skin. I do like the formula for the most part but compared to other cushions I have used this one seemed more sheer and more on the difficult side to build to get the coverage I desired. I have found that using this with another cushion or regular liquid foundation by using it to like, touch up areas or as a light concealer it works pretty well for that. So all is not lost, there are ways I can make usage of this product. I’m sure someone who has more dry skin would probably like this more but my skin is combination and leans a bit more oily in the summertime and this doesn’t work great for that. For now I will stick with my regular foundation and continue just using this for spot correction or under my eyes to lightly brighten my complexion. I would say getting the mini is a great value and way to go ahead and give the product a try to see if you like it or not and if not……well, you’re not out a ton of money and left with a lot of wasted product so that is a plus.By all means try the mini because it might work wonderfully for you but for my oily summertime skin it just wasn’t my favorite. I would recommend to someone with the right kind of skin and who likes a more sheer coverage but if you’re looking for buildable or full coverage maybe try one of the other cushions because there are a few wonderful one’s on the market right here on Amazon.
