Not 100% peppermint
like others have written, this doesn’t smell like 100% peppermint. At first I thought it was spearmint, which I don’t really care for, but that’s not it. It definitely has peppermint in it, but there is something else too. I don’t like that it’s not listed in the ingredients, because it’s obvious that there is another scent in there. Seems kind of sketch to me. I was excited to have a tiny little rollerball to carry in my purse to use when I needed. This will not be it.

I have trouble sleeping, so when I saw that this Relax roll-on from the Ethlauff Store had chamomile in it, I thought I might be able to use this as part of my bedtime routine and apply it an hour or so before I use my lavender essential oil to help me sleep. When I first sniffed it, I could not pick out any of the individual scents that this is supposed to contain. It may be the way it is blended, but I thought at least one would overpower the others. Maybe my sniffer is just off. I can definitely say that is smells very clean and nice. I have used it for a few nights and have not noticed a noticeable sense of relaxation, but I am being patient and will continue to use it to see if that improves. I think I will probably end up keeping this at my desk to use a couple of times throughout the day just because it smells so nice. The roller applicator is very smooth. The cap on the applicator does not screw down completely, so if I carry this in my purse, I will probably put this in a small zipper bag to keep any from accidentally spilling in my purse.

Perfect for on the go or anywhere
I don’t know who loves this little roll on pen more: myself or my son. It’s so sleek and small it can fit in any bag, pocket, or purse. It maybe small but it contains a lot! I love that it’s a roll on as it dispenses the perfect amount of calming lavender oil, but holds plenty as we use this daily in my house and we aren’t even half way through. It’s a great value for the price.

Helps with stuffy nose
I ordered this because I’ve read that peppermint scent helps with focus and I am interested in anything that helps with sinus issues in the spring or fall. This has a pleasant and not overpowering scent (I ordered “Breathe”) and does immediately help your nose to be less stuffy. I’m seriously impressed! If you try, you will vaguely detect the scent of eucalyptus oil, but it isn’t as strong as the peppermint and the overall scent is just a sweet mild fragrant mint. It doesn’t smell like the cream for sore muscles either… in case the word peppermint leads you to that conclusion. If you are like me and are always looking for help with allergies, you may have good luck with this.

It’s OK, but not the potent peppermint I’m used to
Peppermint is one of my favorite essential oils. I use it in diffusers, for various things around the home, and I apply it to my skin for relaxation, tension reduction and ease of headaches. For personal applications I use roller bottles that are already diluted with the carrier oils and ready for use. I ordered Ethlauff Peppermint Essential Oil Roll On for this purpose.The oil comes nicely packaged in a clear box inside a printed sleeve. I was disappointed to see that it has a plastic rollerball compared to a metal one. I find the metal balls roll much smoother and dispense the oil more easily. This roller works better than some Iâve tried. It began applying oil with just a little encouragement, but not as evenly as a metal ball.While the oil did produce the familiar âliftâ I feel when I apply peppermint oil to my neck and wrists, it wasnât as pronounced as what Iâm accustomed to, nor did the effect last as long. The bottle does say itâs diluted for personal use, perhaps itâs diluted more than some others. Furthermore, the fragrance did not seem like a pure peppermint. The scent reminds me of something Iâve detected in some topical pain applications that claim to be all natural. Iâm not sure what that scent is, but it doesnât smell like peppermint. Itâs not a smell Iâm particularly fond of. Perhaps itâs a good thing the fragrance of this oil is considerably lighter than others Iâve used. I wouldnât want this scent to be strong. I find it interesting that if I click on the link from my order it now takes me to a citronella oil instead of peppermint. This isnât citronella, but I canât help but notice that peppermint is not among the oils offered. I found this odd, my bottle definitely says âpeppermintâ, and thatâs what I ordered.My overall opinion of this oil is that itâs okay, but Iâve used others I like far more. Iâll use it, but I wonât reorder. Thatâs just my viewpoint though, others may find this oil perfectly delightful.****About me: Integrity is very important to me. Love the smell. You may wanna put it on multiple times through out your day. Because the smell doesn’t last very long. The scent isn’t strong.

This peppermint oil didn’t smell very strong or have much of any effect on me. I think maybe it is diluted a bit too much. Hard to say.
