Good Kit. No Waxing Strips
The La Metlcion Smart Waxing Kit is a great kit for someone who wants to use waxing in a new way. It comes with everything you need IF you don’t use waxing strips. That Is my only gripe about this kit and the wax used in it. You have to peel off the WAX instead of using strips. This I find to be more painful and the peeling takes longer, however you do get less bleeding.There is a bit of a learning curve to the waxing process. I like the fact that you get a lot of WAX, plenty of waxing sticks and nose sticks as well.

All in one kit with everything you need!
If you’re interesting in trying at-home waxing or already an expert level waxer, this kit is going to be hard to beat. It come with everything you could possibly need- a high quality warmer, pre and post spray, plenty of wooden sticks, even the nose hair sticks- not to mention a ton of wax! I’m just getting the hang of waxing at home, and so far this has given me everything I need to become an expert in no time!

IT’S NOT WHAT YOU THINK – DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY
This product lacks the basics most people look for when doing home waxing — WAXING STRIPS — which causes the user to scrape and peel and dig the wax off their skin with a tiny wooden stick. It took forever, and it was rather painful. You have to apply and reapply the wax praying the hair pulls with the scrapes you now have on your skin. I tried using it multiple times, thinking I was a beginner and that was the problem…. nope it’s just poorly designed for home use. I wouldn’t waste my money nor time on this product and wish I could have sent it back but I waited to long. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND YOUR SKIN

Warmer Stopped Working in less than 45 days.
The third time I plugged this in the heating element stopped working. Was a great value, but now have to toss it and get another warming pot. Dissappointed.

Even if the heater were a complete dud – which is most definitely is not – this is a great price for the wax alone. I knew this came with wax, but I didn’t know how much. Opening the box was like opening a clown car – the bags of wax just kept coming.Seriously, for a beginning waxer it just doesn’t get any easier than this kit.The heater was intuitive and quick-heating. Maybe a little too quick, because it was very slow cooling to a usable temperature. I might have used too many beads, though. The 122 degrees the pages suggests using the wax at, btw, is way too low unless you like wax strings all over the place. I wound up settling around 135.This worked effectively on both my legs and my face. It was a little better on my face because I’d shaved only a little over a week ago so my legs were really a little too short to wax.

Needs better instructions – functions as intended
I bought this kit because it indicated it worked for sensitive skin. The product melts the wax beads very well, but the waxing experience wasn’t pleasant. Maybe it’s because I’m new to waxing, maybe it’s poor directions, maybe it’s the wax. I’m not sure, but I had splotchy results and skin irritation. I have to go back and shave parts of my leg where the wax didn’t take any hair off at all. In some places it only broke off the hair close to the skin. I did look up videos and guides online to try to figure it out, maybe waxing just isn’t for me. The warmer part works great though!

This wax machine is really nice, quick and easy. Just put in the amount of wax pellets you need vs. having to wait for a whole can of wax to melt.The other extremely awesome and useful feature is adjusting the temperature of the wax. The adjustments and digital display allow you to lower the temperature so the wax is the perfect temp and you can immediately apply. No more twirling the wooden stick with wax on it until it gets to the right temp. Also, the wax is white so it allows you to more easily see the removed hair and see any residue of wax remaining on your skin.This gets the job done 2 to 3 times faster and it really works great. I am EXTREMELY PLEASED with this item! I used GiGi wax machine prior to this one and this new one is far superior.
